My Mill City 1kg Setup Tips and Guide - Blkcity coffee

I would like to thank you for taking the time to make this video. I'm looking to buy the MCR 1kg roaster for home use (stepping up from a Gene Cafe) and I was literally searching Amazon and Home Depot for venting parts thinking I could create my own venting system when I came across your video. Now I'm thinking I may just bite the bullet and spring for their venting kit, I too had lots of unknowns and was expecting to do lots of adjustments once I received the roaster. Power was another thing I was questioning and I was going to use a step-up transformer as well. Could you list the Model you selected, have you had any issues with it? Do you have to get a permit from the fire dept to roasted garlic at home?

Hi there, question about venting - do you vent finally outside of the garage? Do you have like a small chimney there? Is there a lot of smoke? How much liquid propane do you use, do you have to go and refill somewhere often? Do you use just a regular size propane bottle (like the one for bbq), or do you use something bigger? Can you also please give me a link to your step up transformer? Thank you so much, great videos...
