Neat video. Never saw one of these CH-37's before.
ОтветитьCanned engine and rotor noise : (
ОтветитьI hate when they do that, would love to hear the twin 18cyl radials roaring away.
ОтветитьYeah, I agree. Sounds like a Bell G-47 instead of a CH-37. To put it in perspective, this is like using the sound effects of a Honda 50 motorcycle for a Harley!
ОтветитьWithout computers ;)
ОтветитьWhy the dubbed engine and rotor sounds? Bummer!
ОтветитьI personally think it would be bad ass if someone rebuilt a CH-37 so that it could fly.
ОтветитьThere was one at NASNI for crash crew training when I was a kid. My grandfather knew the guys, so they let me snag a piece from the landing gear. Still got it somewhere. Always liked the rugged look. May have to hunt down a kit of this big guy.
ОтветитьI wish there was still a Flying Mojave, I bet they sound cool.
ОтветитьPatches I'm depending on you son. CH 37 " Patches"
ОтветитьIt's amazing we won any wars back then. Nobody could keep their helmet on their noggin nor their rifle on their shoulder. Thanks - Lumpy
ОтветитьI think that, if a manufacturer upgraded the engines to turbo shaft, put in a glass cockpit and new avionics, and upgraded weapons, it could be a practically new cargo ship. The concept and airframe have already been tested.
ОтветитьI am guessing the chinook replaced this
ОтветитьThe H-37 doesn't actually fly, it's just so friggin ugly the Earth repels it! Good video and thanks for posting!
ОтветитьInsane people. So many idiots think this good. No one is outrageous that this shows the minds of people. Governments are wasting money to kill not to
Life.
I think algorithm assigned me to this Noble group of helicopter lovers, I think we will meet in our future endeavors.
ОтветитьYou can see US BULLSHİT Helicopter.
ОтветитьMost underrated chopper on vietnam war history 🤣
ОтветитьИнтересный вертолет ,могавк,....но что - то он не ,зашел, в американские ввс.
ОтветитьIs this me
Ответить"Sikorsky CH-37 Mojave (1960)" too vague
ОтветитьTon of ugly.
ОтветитьYOU COULD HAVE USED THE REAL SOUND OF THE ACTUAL HELICOPTER.
JEEEEEEEEEEEZE.
Flew many training missions in the H-37. Great to see it here. It was replaced by the Chinook around 1963.
