This song is what got me into rhythm guitar and why I have a preference for beat over vocalization and people going nuts on their instruments.

Being good with music isn't being able to play a guitar super well or knowing how to bust out a sick solo, being good with music means you understand the principle of "less is more" and how to assemble all the different instruments, no matter how simple their performance, to make it SOUND impactful.

It’s pretty crazy just how fast the 80’s went in the garbage back around this time. A ton of stuff from ‘91 still sounded very 80’s. By ‘93 that sound was completely dead.

I got this album way back in the day from one of those 10 CDs for 1 cent deal, CD catalogs, you used to get in the mail.

Minimalist hard rock at its finest: no overly complex melodies, no theatrical, dramatically emotional singing styles, just a hard riff and drums and a catchy, simple melody from a band that dresses like everyday people.
