Easter Bunny visiting group homes in Prince William County

A famous bunny is visiting Prince William County residents today.

The Easter Bunny and staff members from The Arc of Greater Prince William in Dale City are dropping off Easter baskets at group homes.

“They will be so happy to see the Easter Bunny and we’re excited about that, because we have many folks that are medically fragile and also elderly, and so they have not be outside of their homes,” Recreational Director and Training Coordinator Joy Ocetnik explained.

The homes are run by The Arc, a non-profit that serves individuals with developmental disabilities.

Caregivers work with the residents all day and help them eat healthy, exercise and participate in activities.
