Wow, Chloe, what an informative and also moving interview! I feel so privileged to be connected to women like you and Dr. Gallagher. I have been following Dr. Gallagher for some time, and also a patient of hers who is on the same transgender forum as I am. This patient did the peritoneal pull through in Indiana. As a post op women who for a variety of reasons did a minimal depth vaginoplasty , I have the hope of someday doing a full depth by the peritoneal procedure she described. I would certainly choose her if that day ever came.

I'm extremely impressed by Dr. Gallagher. Thank you for interviewing her. I will be inquiring about my bottom surgery which is currently planned for next year at NYU, but I am encouraged that I might be able to see Dr. Gallagher instead.

This was a great discussion with Dr. Gallagher, Chloe. I was really excited about the possabality of doing a consult with her for my FFS and to have silicone removed from my breasts. I was on her wait list from before she even was set up here in Miami and was so crushed to find out that her consults were $100 to chat with her and that she did work with Medicare/Medicade reciepants. There went the possabality of ever seeing her for the last 2 things remaining on my bucket list post SRS.

Love DR Gallagher's video's .. found this interview very interesting Chloe.. Thanks so much dear for sharing with us.. Found early on that I really had to learn to advocate for myself and often had to stand my ground against the doctors and certain people in the health care industry.. I realized I had to speak about the many issues I was just starting to come to grips with.. It was scary and emotional to talk of dysphoria my mental health and living full time as my true self.. The feeling came that I had to almost demand they just accept me and my health. They were in a position of power to decide my path forward and I kind of resented it.. In the end I think it's our conviction of self that sway them.. We need to know that about ourselves in the many interviews we go though to be diagnosed .. It's all part of our path to healing.. Dr's like your guest serve as a wonderful pool for us in that process.. xo dear..

Dr Allison Roberts and her studies of the human anatomy and her out look " don't die young, is my question for this doctor why she hasn't gone into the mind set of trans gender. And is it not a double whamy for persons that have been abused, to bring them to this mind set to go to this extreme?

You brought up so many amazing questions that cover so many aspects for ftm, mtf, and non-binary people that are sometimes so hard to get clear answers for. You're doing amazing things!

I reviewed her work and most looks great other than the grs for MTF. Also, why do these procedures and not accept insurance? Most surgeons understand the medical necessity of the procedures.

With what's happening in Florida concerning COVID-19, I don't think anybody in their right mind would travel to Florida for surgery of any kind

I also grew up in rural ireland and still live there .

I love this video . Sidhbh Gallagher is definetly near my heart as one of the top surgeons for Penile Inversion Vaginoplasty. The only draw back is I know a few surgeons from my research to a 1 stage & she does the labiaplasty separate from Vaginoplasty. So currently weighing the pros & cons. Also depending on what my health insurance will play a role in who might cover it vs not cover it

The only benefit I see from the destruction of someone's reproductive organs is that it simply means this branch of humans will find an abrupt end within one generation. Don't think too hard about that. It might disrupt your bottom surgery.
