Sixteen-year-old Milo Golding was named the winner of the 13th annual Doodle for Google competition, beating out hundreds of thousands of students from 54 states and territories.
Golding, a rising senior at Lexington Christian Academy, will receive a $30,000 scholarship, a $50,000 technology package for his school, Google hardware, and swag.
Doodle for Google is an annual art contest open to students grades K-12 across the country.
Students were invited to submit their own artistic interpretation of this year’s theme, “I am strong, because...” Golding’s submission is tiled “Finding Hope.”
