I Got BANNED On TeePublic!? (Print On Demand Journey Update)

Teepublic needs to give better answers. Redbubble is more professional.

I got banned from Teepublic a few weeks ago. Opened up a shop one evening, , and uploaded 5 original designs - got an email the next day banning me. No copyright, no trademark, using their own tags, no fan art etc - all my original paintings of generic scenery. Replied to the email to ask what the problem was - never heard back. So glad I hadn't wasted much of my time on there.

I thought we could only upload 50 designs per day on Teepublic.

If you uploaded a bunch of designs to two separate shops, that could be the problem. Somewhere on Teepublic I read that you can upload 50 per day total but not 50 per account per day. 50 total for all accounts. Or maybe that was on RedBubble.

As for finding stuff on Teepublic. It’s all about the tags.

I got banned on Teepublic in January. My designs don't even show up on the website and I emailed them about it. A week later they gave me that robotic response you talked about in a video a few months ago. A few weeks later, kaboom banned. I uploaded 9 designs a day.

after they banned me two minutes after my first upload, I read and checked all of their terms. I'm sure there was no any violation. there are tonnes of stories like mine. sometimes they just banned, without any reason. i have a redbubble shop, I play by the rules and don't use any copyrighted or trademarked designs or tag. this design was totally ok. maybe yours also

This is happened before ! All you have to do is to contact them and send to them some of ai or psd files of your work and they will open it again! , They just think that you steal designs because of a huge amount of designs you uploaded in a few days.

Same, I have hundreds design on there and sold about 30 products in February and I just got banned a few days ago. What happen to my earnings for February? I have emailed them and tweet them on twitter and reddit but still no response. Fck. I really want to cry 😁

What is the difference in your income between Redbubble and Etsy? Is Etsy really much better?

Got an idea of what the RB upload time line should be? I have 1500 designs that i want to use flying upload to upload but now I am a bit cautious

teepublic oh no is it because you have two accounts maybe what's the daily limit for uploading on teepublic and is your redbubble shops safe now?

Yea dude, I had my stores banned like 4 times within my time on Teepublic. Fortunately, I have had no problems over the last few months with them but I only upload no more than maybe 15 to 20 designs a day and not all at once.

Yes, they do this for a lot of new accounts, and you email support and show them you designed them and they are original designs. They closed my account when I first started it. They also get back to you fast now.

they removed my account today, sucks after 46 design and 1 month on them with no sales

just make sure what you upload is carefully checked for kids. one of my accounts got banned because I had a kid tee selected. they dont mess around with that. but making a new email fixes that:D

The same problem happened to me about a year ago, the same text of the message that you showed us in the e-mail, and when I asked them about the reason, they did not reply to me.

I too got deleted from TeePublic with only two designs that I worked on for two weeks which were totally my own design from scratch and were not copyrighted whats so ever. Thankfully, as you said there are many other places to go like Merch by Amazon (which I love and is by far my favorite). Merch by Amazon at least will give you a warning if your infringing on anything and will not delete your account on one infraction. All I can say is I better not find my work on TeePublic's other sellers store-fronts on TeePublic (very doubtful though). Thanks Jack Ingram Online for sharing your experience with us. It seems to be a real problem with TeePublic and I am so glad I have not put much effort into their platform. For anyone new, DO NOT depend on TeePublic for your storefront, go elsewhere first to get established and then try their platform. Just remember using TeePublic, there is a very REAL chance that your hard work and store front will be deleted without notice and there goes all your hard-work on this finicky platform.

I lost a year's work on Teepublic, I think I uploaded a batman logo, didn't use the batman tag though, but whatever!!, knew nothing of trademark, etc, but was very angry and disappointed, now only got Redbubble and Amazon Merch, can't get outta tier 10 though, think I saw one of your previous videos on how to do descriptions and bullets points much dig it out, deffo have to learn that properly, your a clever young man, wish I was young and clever like you ;-) LOL

Avoid Teepublic how can anyone spend time and effort knowing you can be banned at anytime, not worth the bother! I uploaded 9 designs in 4 days and got banned. Pointless been on a site every time you login you expect to be banned at some point in the near future. One guy i heard had 500 designs and he lost his account too. So don't waste your time on this website.

Advice: Don't waste your time on TeePublic. My account was suspended 3 days after I opened it. I forwarded them an email and haven't heard from them. I refused to deal with a company that quickly banned you for no reason and don't respond to your email. I know there's a great number of POD who uses TeePublic and that was the reason I gave them a try. If they don't like you to post too many designs at one time, they need to specify on their Terms of Service. Another thing, banning someone off a site without giving them a reason is simply bad business practice.
