Sam, I’m sorry for your loss my dude. I don’t cry very much but I had to lay to rest 2 of my mine over the last 5 years and I cried like a baby. Let it out and heal bro.

Sam, Firstly, let me say that i am very sorry for your loss. And yes, i agree that these fur babies are truly like our "babies". They are family. My wife and I have been married for over 40 years and we have had and still have many fur babies. Sady, we have lost so many, but through our Faith, we know we'll see them again when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ comes for us. Sam, i Pray that you know Jesus. He is the only way to Salvation. I am going to Share the Gospel here for you (and anyone who needs it). Please read it. This could potentially be the most important decision you will ever make, "IF" you decide right. 🙏

Our Blessed Hope, our Savior Jesus Christ.
Do you know him? Do "you", ("whoever" is reading this), know Jesus? Even more, are you "Saved"? If Jesus were to return today, "now", would you be ready? Are you ready? That is the one question that you, and everyone, better know the answer to, because that is the most important decision you will ever make. Jesus is the "ONLY WAY TO SALVATION". There is no other way, "none". This "life" that you are living now, is a "limited" existence. The life after this is "ETERNAL", which brings us to another question: "Where do you want to spend eternity?" Well, you have only "two" choices: either "HEAVEN" or "HELL"! Not everyone will go to Heaven and likewise not everyone will go to Hell. It's your choice! It's always been your choice. Have you ever wondered why we all don't go to Heaven? Well, it's because of just one thing. But that "one" thing "separates" us all from God, and that one thing, is "SIN"! We are all born into sin, everyone is, and the Bible says that the wages (penalty) of sin is "Death". You see, because of our sins, when we all die, we are all "eternally separated" from God. But you know what? God Loves you so much that he made a way for you, for all of us. The Bible also teaches us that even though the penalty (wages) for our sins is death, we can gain SALVATION (a GIFT FROM GOD) through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ. God made a way! He sacrificed his only son, for "you"! That's how much he Loves you.

ROMANS 6:23 kjv
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Here's the GOOD NEWS, (THE GOSPEL) Jesus took your sins and paid your sin debt in full. He took all your sins, past, present and future, to the Cross, shed his Blood and literally DIED for your sins, was buried and then God raised him from the dead three days later. Anyone who believes in the finished work of Jesus Christ will be Saved. That's THE GOSPEL (which means GOOD NEWS).

1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-4 kjv
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

He paid the price so you don't have to. Jesus is the ONLY ONE who could. He is the ONLY WAY.

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

God gives you, all of us, this "GIFT", because he Loves you. How much does God Love you? Well, let me ask you this: "Could you sacrifice your only child?" That is exactly what our Heavenly Father did. He gave (sacrificed) his only begotten son, Jesus, for "you", for the "WHOLE WORLD"!

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Please, don't let Gods "sacrifice" (for you) be in vain. Jesus "died" for you. Please "Live" (eternally) for him.

Sam, my friend, I'm sorry for your loss. We lost both our fur babies last year, the pain of letting go of 10 years and 15 years of unconditional love is hard. It gets easier, somewhat.

I know exactly how awful this is. I started out with 3 dogs. I"ve lost 2 unexpectedly over the last year and a half. So I know how hard this is for you. I'm crying right alongside you. And I know that you gave him a GREAT life. Especially if he got to go camping with you on occasion. Hugs to you and Mrs. Banannas!

Oh man... I cried for uour hurt 😢.... Letting go is hard but you gave Monty the best life ever & he lived a long life too because of the love and care he got from you and your good wife... Thanks for the tag-along Sam - nice camp and cook, and I was happy to see you filling in the depression you dug at the end. Don't worry about the emotions - Monte deserves them. I lost a good friend too early in his life late last year, due to undetected kidney problems, but my family gathered together and brought him back, happy, for four and a half months, with under the skin water injections, kidney safe food, and other treatments. I manned the needle most days, and took him walking at every park I could find all last summer, hoping he would make the winter and see snow, which he loved. He did, and then some. It came to a head the day after Christmas 2024, and we had to put him down. My son and I were there, held him, and said goodbye to Loki. I don't think I've ever cried like that before, but I would do it 100 times over. Their lives are short, but their love is worth it.

My prayers go out to you and family. Dogs are amazing and a blessing for us for their unconditional love and loyalty! Thank you for sharing some of his time with us subscribers!

I feel you man. I just lost my dog yesterday. He's been with us before the pandemic. He's been a good brother to our only daughter. Feels like I lost a son too. It kills me knowing that he's gone forever.😭😭😭

i know exactly what you mean, they are your family. ours was scheduled to come to our house, but he passed in the middle of the night. his legs also collapsed and could not get up. we knew it was getting close when he was doing circles around the back yard, i look at his picture i start crying. so dont ever apologize for your love and devotion.

Wonderful recovery trip with a beautiful and quiet setting. Our family had to make the unfortunate decision with our dog as well and there is never the right time but ultimately you gave yours an unbelievable life of love, memories and adventure. Treasure and remember them always.

My Snicker's 🐶 passed away from old 🗝️ age her bday 🎂 was on Valentine's Day 💝, my toy Chihuahua tinygirl 🐕 was bday 🎂 was Mother's Day 🌺💝 but thr both up in doggy heaven eating chicken 🍗 together waiting for their mommy to come one day to join them.
