Rosen Centre, Orlando, FL - USA - Room 825 Tour

The Rosen Centre is a large convention center hotel on the south end of International Drive.

The hotel is removed from the crazy busy north part of I-drive which is great if you are looking for a quiet hotel but bad if you want lots of things to do adjacent to the hotel.

The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. There's a sports bar in the expansive lobby that, during the time of my visit, was decorated very nicely for the end of year holidays.

The room was large and seemed a bit basic for an advertised 4-star hotel. The shower and toilet was separate from the sink, which I guess could be good if two people are getting ready at the same time. The shower head should be banished from ALL hotel bathrooms. It is horrible, something you would find in a Motel 6 or Super 8. It's not impressive that a hotel in late 2023 still uses single use toiletries instead of large, refillable bottles.

The bed was firm but not hard. The linens are of standard quality and the pillows are a non-standard size. There was no feather pillows placed on either bed, only foam. Overall, the bedding isn't setting any records, especially for what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. The foam pillows made my neck sore.

The room was very clean, though - so there's that!

My rating for this hotel is based on the fact that they hold themselves out to be a 4-star hotel on Google Maps. At best this hotel should be a strong 3-star hotel. That being said the room was just good enough to earn this hotel 4 stars on my review.
