Kramer is a HOOT but Fritz is an unintentional riot sometimes! Wow how even peripheral characters such as Fritz and Kramer can round out the realness and humanity of the thing. Nero and Archie are of course the main thing but again WOW I just cannot say enough this is a quality production on so many levels! Thanks so much for uploading these are the best!

Excellent. I'm certainly glad, though, that I've read the book at least twice before attempting to follow the plot of this production.

I forgot that later on Kari and Timothy Hutton worked together on Leverage.

Everyone is great, fritz, Cramer, the many ladies who waltz through. More and more I love Maury, Nero. Timothy is irresistible.

No matter the situation, or however intense.. Wolfe always likes to make sure that everyone directly involved... has had enough to eat.

I love the character of Fritz. I wish I could afford one. I love how he's either engrossed in cooking or rising to the occasion to participate in what's asked of him, with dignity and determination. How cool is that!

I loved this script... maybe my favorite story because Nero Wolfe's life had so many mysteries.

I’m enjoying these shows but the constant use of the same actors in different roles makes it look like small town repertory company. But such is life.

I've read all the books and some, more than once but it's great to watch the episodes because it refreshes their voices in n my mind when I read. Wonderful books and characters!

I do not know why they called the German guy " The Chinless Wonder" when the hanging, jiggling, Bull Dog jowls DO make The Inspector much more of the Chinless wonder.

This excellent series was ruined for me by Archie's hat. He never took it off. I am pld enough to remember when men wore hats. They removed them when they entered a building, elevatory, or in the presence of a women. At least they tipped it. For that hat to have remained firmly on his head without comment did not happen then and annoyed me to no end. Enjoyed the acting, scripts, clothes, and cars. HATED THE HAT.

The costumers really should have studied how hats were worn in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. They sat higher on the head with more space between the ears and brim. Archie looks like he's wearing his father's hat.

I find some of the episodes much too campy, but this was a good one.

The only movies and tv shows I have ever been able to watch more than once (most I've seen twice I've seen 5 times or more) are from the 30's,40's,&50's. This is the only modern one.

When I watched Plimpton talk, it was amazing. His mouth looked like that of a snake to it. It was repellent. Was it purposeful or just my imagination q?
