What’s the scuff sheet roll that you used?

Oh no I would never cut the scuff sheet while on the bat like you did near the stickers, risk cutting into the wood and opening up the fibers 😬

Just an update on the atomic bat, it is better now then before, the ping has been fantastic, made 113 not out, and couldn’t be happier with the results thanks Marc @bat info for your Amazing work and information on how to repair cracks/ damage on our bats much appreciated mark!

Enjoyable & informative to watch. I am thinking about my bat & how it may need a few minor touch-ups at the end of the season. Mostly around the a few vertical cracks on the face that opened up after about 5hrs when I knocked her in, so I was particularly intregued when you added the superglue to the face & then sanded.

Question though.

For the repair why did you choose a bat wax over a linseed oil option on the face?

Was it to save time or do you have a general preference for a bat wax over oil?

The toe of my bat has cracked and it's a big crack. Do you recommend Titebond or an Epoxy glue to fill and clamp the crack?

Great video Marc! I have one question.

My bat has a crack on the edge which creeps into the face horizontally, a couple of inches below the splice. Now, I understand the methods to fill up the crack would be the same, but I was wondering how to clamp the bat, since the crack is horizontal and not vertical?

Um, so I have an English Willow Bat which has started chipping off a bit from the bottom end, only a bit. Is there anything I should do, and if yes then what? Please help

I've got a Crack starting at the toe and going up the back of the bat do I just fill in super glue in fine parts and pva in the bigger openings on the toe? Lots of cracks on the side some vertical. It has been repaired before with 3 dowels. But it's a favorite bat I'd like to keep using . Cheers 🍻

hi, I was wondering what brand of cross weave fibreglass tape you use for the toe? the thinner stuff that's probably around 12mm? trying to find some and can never seem to find it anywhere!
