A top 10 as well as half a dozen honourable mentions - and still Galaga and Space Invaders are the only shooters?
What about R-Type, Gradius, Battle Garegga, Xevious, Ikaruga, Raiden/Raiden Trad?
What about Sega's Super Scalar games (includjng more shooters): Space Harrier, Hang On, Thunder Blade, OutRun (!), Galaxy Force, Afterburner?
I know top 10s can't make everyone happy but this one is sorely lacking! Plus, you pronounced Mario like "Mary-ohw", like a bloody Canadian - lovely people, but cant talk English for shit 😘
hey guys I have a question around 2006 our local mall had a martial arts game that was ladder style fighting and the machine had about 6 or more pads on it and you had to punch and kick the pads according to how they lit up or whatever is said on screen, as a black belt I blew thru the game pretty easy but it was a wonderful workout, does anyone know what that game was called?
ОтветитьYou missed NBA Jam and Gauntlet deserves more than an honourable mention
Ответить1. Street fighter II
2. Double Dragon
3. RAIDEN
4. Twin Cobra
5. Final Fight
Terminator Pinball was the ONLY pinball game that was actually fun.
I dropped a lot of quarters in bars that Golden Tee. You didn't have to be a golf fan to have some fun rounds with friends. Hell, bars even had tournaments.
Ответитьworst picks 😂
ОтветитьWow, what a terrible list. Donkey Kong and Ms. Pac-Man are the only two that I agree with.
ОтветитьNo Defender? No Robotron 2084? Those were non stop action games
ОтветитьVoting machines should be simple and quick
ОтветитьMy favorite of all Time isn’t even in the top ten! 🙄🤦♂️🤨 ( Environmental) Discs of Tron was Amazing! 🤩🤯😎
Dolby surround sound with digitized speech and in the later stages FAST and FURIOUS Gameplay! 👌 It is Dope 🔥!
No Outrun? Dickhead
ОтветитьThere are too many good games to limit it to just top 10
ОтветитьI am over 50 years old, this list laughable. A few I agree, but most I do not
ОтветитьTrilogy Arcade and Time Crises were always my go-to cabinets
ОтветитьNo Burger Time?
ОтветитьMortal Kombat II obviously
ОтветитьCentipede
ОтветитьDefender
ОтветитьPacman was bigger than ms pacman little teenager. I was there you weren't
ОтветитьPeople who weren't there for the early 80s glory days of arcades will never understand.
ОтветитьMy all time favorite classic arcade game is space invaders and pac man.
ОтветитьHow dare you mispronounce Mario!
ОтветитьOnly SF2 WW deserves to be here
ОтветитьManufacturers names not mentioned 🤔
ОтветитьThere was nothing better in the 80s then walking into a arcade the smell of fresh pizza & big drinks anyone ever play blood bros ? That is missing from list ❤
ОтветитьHouse of the dead 2 not on this list is a crime
ОтветитьMrs. Pac-Man 100%
ОтветитьMy pic has tetris
ОтветитьSuper Mario brothers? Simply the best game ever created.
ОтветитьI think that Super Mario Brothers should be on the list.
My favorite game is Star Wars (1983).
Bro where is the terminator salvation??
ОтветитьDaammnn, I'm old. I remember all of these. I remember conquering Crash, the first I know of. We've come a long way baby.
ОтветитьStreet Fighter is the best!
ОтветитьThis is a weak list
ОтветитьMissle Command and Double Dragon and Punchout should have made the list.
ОтветитьList is 🐴 💩
ОтветитьI remember going to Singapore with my family in 2000. While my family was shopping, I found an arcade which had Star Wars Trilogy. It was my first time playing, but the Force was strong with me allowing me to hit everything lol
ОтветитьIf I got all of my quarters back that I spent on Bubble Bobble, I think I could solve the national deficit
ОтветитьNo Wonder Boy? No Robotron 2084, Zaxxon,? Everybody has their opinions on favourites but Ms. Pac-Man as number 1? That's so cliched it's like putting Stairway to Heaven as best Zeppelin song.
ОтветитьNo double dragon? Not even in the honorable mentions? Beyond criminal
ОтветитьSpace Invaders like the Game the Song is just as mean ive got it by yes the Band called Player 1 rare define on them 1980 to be born blessed and part of the greatest decade of all time never to forget miss it so much oh hail the 80s atmosphere indeed
ОтветитьI don’t agree that Ms. Pac-Man were released in 1981, ‘cause it was released in 1982. Way to do the background research on our “Top Arcade Game,” which you’ve never even seen in a cabinet in its first arcade, because it was released in 1982. 🤦♂️
ОтветитьThe Star Wars Trilogy game. I know that hand combination of playing that game and the black Assassin Creed right wist band. The is actually me. Seriously. lol. The only place I played that game at was at a Holiday Inn in Orlando. Right down the road from Disney. Wow. lol
ОтветитьSTUN Runner was my number 1 up there with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Ответитьit's a bit of a cheat to use "series" with some of these. I'd say the original TMNT arcade game was awesome, and it was everywhere... I still have yet to find an arcade with a working copy of Turtles in Time! (and it's a fantastic game). and gauntlet legends is awesome! so there's another "series" you could add.
ОтветитьA top ten without Tetris its not a real top ten. R-Type, Mortal Kombat, Gauntlet should be in as well
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьMrs PacMan---- wtf??? average at best. Kung Fu Master and WonderBoy far greater arcade experiences
Ответить
