Aw man, are you using AI art? It's sort of disappointing. I prefer actual historical photos, rather than fuzzy recreations of them with horses hitched backwards and infinite columns on buildings

You don't seem to have detail knowledge of the Swedish match business. It was based on a Swedish invention called the "safety match", that was patented. This style of match is still called "Swedish Matches" in England, "Allumettes Suédoises" in France, and "Schwedenhölzer" in Germany.
Other contemporary matches used a different chemical process, and could ignite against any material, while the Swedish one only ignited against the special pad on the matchbox. A lot of devastating fires were started with the old style of match self igniting, and lighting the whole box on fire. During this period entire cities could go up in flames. This made spreading of the safety match a matter of public safety. Think spaghetti westerns where they light the match on their cowboy boots, or the beard stubble if they are badasses...
Saying he was the founder of Zyn is also odd, since it is a product that didn't exist during his lifetime, it is also a brand, and not a company. The company is Swedish Match, which he was the founder of...

Sorry buddy, but your video is completely off the mark. Ivar Kreuger was the greatest business leader Sweden has ever had. The claim that he was insolvent is pure disinformation—his companies were doing very well.

There is a book by Nikola Majstrovic. His book, which is about 10 years old, "The Truth Behind the Kreuger Crash," is the result of 12 years of searching for the answer to the question of what lies behind the so-called "Kreuger crash" and the alleged "suicide" that Ivar Kreuger supposedly committed. Using new, previously unknown documents and testimonies, the book sheds new light and provides answers that refute the currently accepted official "truth" about the collapse of the Kreuger empire and Ivar Kreuger's death.

Reading the book, it becomes clear that Kreuger was murdered and that many financial elites were involved in the plot, including the Swedish financial giants Wallenberg, Bonnier, Stenbeck, as well as JP Morgan and even Stalin. Upon his death, it was these families—Wallenberg, Bonnier, Stenbeck, and others—who took over his companies, and their wealth still endures today because of Kreuger's businesses.

See if you can find the book in English and correct your information!

The most important question: who took control of his companies when he "died"?

Two famous names come to mind. The book "så fälldes en svensk gigant". av Nikola Majstrovic go into detail of all the questions around this case. Unfortunately just in swedish, as far as i know.

Shoddy research and many factually incorrect statements made in this video. Ericsson has been owned by the swedish banking family wallenberg since the kreuger crash. They bought up kreugers empire for pennies on the dollar after having kreuger killed and spreading rumours about his numbers being false. They bought up his companies that gave them access to a monopoly on the telecom infrastructure and powergrid in 184 countries.

Prior to his "suicide" the wallenbergs and among many others olof aschberg openly conspired to shorting his companies and having him killed...

The murder of Ivar Kreuger is the biggest scandal in Swedish history. If they'd let him live, he would have prevented WWII with the loan he planned to give to Germany. This man helped many nations worldwide with affordable loans at low rates to stabilize their economies. This angered the real banks who couldn't earn high interest rates on their given loans when Ivar Kreuger stepped in and helped these countries pay off their debts. Ivar created hundreds of thousands of jobs worldwide with his companies. He was a genius and wanted to create peace everywhere but instead, they took his life, made him into a villain, blamed all their faults on him, and finally cut his empire into pieces and took over it for pennies. In the meantime, they let the ordinary folks pay for all of this with their jobs being lost and their stocks becoming worthless while they took over Ivars' vast empire of companies and became stunningly rich.

One of the main mechanics of how he was able to keep this up for so long was that he "innovated" stocks with less voting rights. Called B-stock in Sweden. This meant that he could sell as much stock as he wanted and still retain control of all the companies he owned. Which he did.

Before Krueger, there was just one kind of stock where anyone owning stock would have equal voting power as another stock-owner.

Apparently Wall Street thought this "innovation" in Finance was brilliant, and kept it to this day :)

There's also "Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget" (Swedish Cellulose Joint-Stock Company) which Krueger founded to unite the resources of ten Swedish forestry companies. That company today is the largest private owner of forest land in Europe and one of the world's largest makers of hygenic paper products. They also happen to own Procter & Gamble's former European operations.
