Timo Werner - 'Joining Chelsea Over Liverpool Was The Best Decision I Could Take'

Timo Werner insisted that joining Chelsea over Premier League champions was the "best decision I could take."

The former RB Leipzig recruit was speaking on Wednesday just two days after making his debut for Frank Lampard's side in the 3-1 win away to Brighton.

Werner, who won Chelsea a penalty, during the victory, added that he wants to win trophies with the Stamford Bridge club following his 60 million euros move.

Chelsea next face Liverpool on Sunday which will see Werner looking to score his first goal for the club against the team that were also interested in his signature.
