I love your content. I'm looking to make my first feature. Would you advice I do a short first, to gain some sort of credibility?

Now i do have a question here, once i earn the budget, do I need a producer? Is there any more important information before I start a feature movie?

Thanks for the video. So informative. If I am creating a fictional feature and trying to get a fiscal sponsorship from IFP or a place similar, will I have to share profits of the film with them? Or do they just take a straight percentage of about 7% of what is raised?
