Greetings from America. With regards to sumi ink, I think it’s important to note that it is traditionally supplied as an “ink stick”, which is ground and diluted by the user as needed. Of course it is more convenient in the modern world to squeeze the liquid from a plastic bottle! Also I’m not convinced that India ink is any more archival than sumi; this is something that I will be investigating further. Cheers

Could you put that in a fountain pen (oh yeah definitely in some cheap indian brands) and use it for quite some time and tell me the results? Is it worth it?
