How to Install The Samsung Frame TV (& My Review)

Nice video. Questions:
1) I cannot fish the power box through the brick wall. I have an outlet where I want to install the tv. Can the tv plug directly into the wall or do I have to use the one box.
2) I am streaming only and don't have any other inputs.

Regarding the power box, is it infrared? Does a remote have to connect to it for the TV to work? I only have room behind the TV so concerned it won't work.

@reviewbase this was great! I have one question I hope you can answer. I am mounting mine in my kitchen and don't have anywhere to put the powerboat. Can it be behind the wall that the tv is mounted on? Will it work from my kitchen?

Does that power box need to be available for the remote? Where I want to install I would put the box on the other side of the wall in my bedroom so it is out of view. Will that work? THANKS!!

I got really excited about this TV until I learned about the obligatory box (which they conveniently didn't mention in the shop). That totally kills all the benefits of this TV because I have only a simple wall and no place to hide this box. As the comment section shows, I'm not the only one with that problem. I would even say it makes this TV a niche product for the few people who can somehow install the box in a hidden way. For most people this defeats the purpose of this device - a clean and elegant look - completely.

I read that the included wall mount also allow the TV to tilt down 6 degrees. Is this true? For the latest (2024?) model?

OMG I'm glad I saw this video before purchasing this tv. This is way too much work for a tv lol! It's beautiful, but I don't wanna ruin my walls for it.

What a dumb design . 2000 dollar setup , and they only have 1 screw for each bracket on the tv, and the wall bracket is in 2 pieces , instead of 1 long . It's like buying a Ferrari with Honda civic wheels

How much is the gap from the wall

Were did you end up putting the one box and what is connected to it?

#1 TVs above a fireplace make for a less than ideal viewing angle so I would move it to where you can catch eye level at the center while sitting
#2 The proper way to install this tv is to build a subwall behind where you want to mount it (think tray ceilings) so that the power wire and box can be placed behind the tv

I bring up #2 because if a fire ever happens, you'll wish you hadn't run that puny little wire inside of the wall

how would you watch AIRWAVES tv on this thing? Do i need a separate tuner box?
