I wanna hear it without a noise gate, like my BOSS Power Crap Stack, HISSSSSSSS HUMMMMM HISSSSSS
ОтветитьI wanna hear it with a crappy guitar. Using a gibson isn't an accurate representation of their cheap pedals lol.
Ответитьthis pedal is nicer than crappy boss ds1 or mt2
Ответитьif it sounds to good (distorted) to be true, it usually is. All of the boss "high gain" pedals have no choice but to hisssss hummmmm and deficate unwanted noise and feedback, thats the nature of the technology right now.
Ответитьin a one on one bedroom volume environment these "high gain" work fine, but i have major difficulties using them in live performance. Gain and distortion are relative in a performance situation.
ОтветитьIf boss were to overcome the noise and feedback of their "high gain/distortion" pedals, they would advertise it from the get go. I believe most of the Boss products are GREAT!!!, they are just trying to please too many distortion mongers
ОтветитьAwesome playing! The sound is ok.
ОтветитьI have one of these on order, but one of the posts here brings up a valid point. Is there a noise gate in the chain used for recording this video? I'm on the verge of cancelling my order for various reasons, so I'd appreciate a prompt answer *from Boss*.
Ответитьi own an OD20 and don't use a noise gate.I don't drench my sound in distortion so I don't have a problem, I'm old school.I'm buying this pedal
ОтветитьThe multidimensional processing definitely seems promising and exciting yet the most important question still remains the amount of hiss we are likely to hear..
ОтветитьSounds very cold and dry. Not my favourite so far
Ответитьcouple days ago I watched this demo and highlighted these words - with the power of MDP, its distortion is dramatically responsive to playing dynamics and volume changes- that's what I need! and I've just bought it thanks for the demo :D
ОтветитьYou're joking, right? But look at the neck bindings - they are white. The body binding is brown because it clearly was originally brown, not because it is dirty.
Ответитьyes i was joking lol
Ответить...any plans for an adaptive overdrive with the MDP?
ОтветитьHello! Can I use this pedal with a bass guitar?
ОтветитьMy wonderful wife just got me one of these for a early christmas present.I am kinda new to tube amps but i have to say this thing sounds incredible on my traynor amp and everyone of my guitars.I love how defined chords remain even at high gain but be prepared for alot of hiss at higher levels ,,atleast with the unit i have.
ОтветитьThe name is enough to put me off. The word 'Adaptive' sounds like something from the auto industry, 'adaptive suspension' or whatever gimmicks they dish out. I hate all these new Boss pedals and have stopped buying the brand all together and now chases more interesting pedals from the 80s like Yamaha, DOD etc., which have character and are more fun than these sterile sounding effects.
ОтветитьAnyone know where they find the backing tracks?
ОтветитьThat's a great sound. A TRUE DISTORTED SOUND. I'm gonna buy it!!
ОтветитьSounds a bit like slash distortion anyone ?
ОтветитьTo the nay-sayers - go try one in a guitar shop. You shouldn't put down a pedal that you haven't played in the flesh. Yes, Boss have made some dire pedals (MetalZone - I'm talking to you in particular), but after playing the guitar for over ten years, I can safely say this is a decent pedal that is not a gimmick. I use mine a fair bit for a variety of sounds. I repeat - don't be put off by negative comments coming from people who haven't even tried the pedal, it is foolish.
ОтветитьTried it in a guitar store today. From the currenct distortion pedalys by boss, its my favourite. Has a nice dynamic to it.
ОтветитьIs this a digital or analog pedal?
ОтветитьI can't find that pedal anywhere...they say that it is unavailable :'( Does Anybody know the reason??
ОтветитьI have to say, this sounds awesome
Ответитьi hope one day this pedals make a comeback :/
ОтветитьLooks like this pedal is discontinued, according to the Boss US website. Wonder why after only 3-4 years? Poor sales?
Ответитьi got this pedal. it's not sounding like that. i'm using wampler sovereign too. against that this is too fuckin weak.
ОтветитьWeekday what guitar is the first guitar the black one with the orange trim that's an amazing looking guitar looks like a les Paul?
ОтветитьThis pedal seems to sustain longer than the DS1...
ОтветитьI bought me a DS 2 before a while and I'm very happy with it.
ОтветитьHow does it do as a boost into the front of a tube amp?
Ответитьall review with humbucker pickups!!!
Ответитьanyone else reminded of early Papa Roach a little bit by this guitar tone?
Ответитьvery tasteful!
ОтветитьWhat’s the model of black gibson he plays ?
ОтветитьPor fin lo tengo, gran pedal nada que ver con ds1 i similar , al fin y al cabo todo va en relación precio costo; lo amo con pasión y locura
ОтветитьIsso sim é distorção de verdade.
ОтветитьOne of the best ever, now a classic in year 2020.
ОтветитьAnywhere on the neck, huh? What if I am playing a bass? (This is a serious question BTW.)
ОтветитьThis made from?
ОтветитьCOMEBACK!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
ОтветитьThe best Distortion Pedal I ever use, I think is even better than Mesa pedal.
ОтветитьDoes it cheat a bit through extra compression?
ОтветитьFinalmente à Boss fez uma drive muito bom
ОтветитьIf you bought gt1000 the distortion block called A-dist is basically 95% this.
The actual unit for some reason have a bit more lo mid.
