I love that you “can’t be bothered” by the extra steps !!! My sister!! I’m going to try this !!
ОтветитьOh my goodness 😳 this brings me back to college days when I moved out of the dorms into an apartment. My roommate from Hong Kong used to make this for dinner. It was so delicious. She made it from frozen fillets of whitefish. She steamed the fish in our only sauce pan with chopsticks on the bottom immersed in H20 to hold up the plate -- poor college students. 😅🤣😂🤣
Ответить🧐..😋😋😋😋👍
ОтветитьI LOVE steamed fish!! We like a place called "Red Ginger" delicious food!! I order there steamed fish it's SO delicious 😋😋😋😋
ОтветитьCan i use the sauce for salmon fish?
ОтветитьEasy and delicious. Thank you!
Ответитьyummy steamed fish
ОтветитьYum...leave the bloopers in...hee hee😃😃❤💜🐬🐦🐆🌅
ОтветитьSo simple and tasty! Thank you Flo and Dude!
Ответить💛
ОтветитьThis is my favorite food! It’s so nice and tender and I always order it at Hong Kong near me :)
ОтветитьJust cooked fresh Red Emperor filleted fish at home & it tastes just as good as whole fish. Much better without the bones. Thanks Flo. Ex-Malaysian in Perth, Australia.
ОтветитьOh please. Steamed fish head is absolutely delicious. Get a grouper head because it’s big an has a lot of meat on the side. Split it in half and then cook it like way shown here.
And then enjoy all the goodies inside.
Can you devote a video on choosing the right wok?
ОтветитьMassage the raw fillets with your fingers. That should find any stray bones. It's good to study the bone structure of the fish. Understanding that will help you find those hidden bones. Give the kids the tail end of the fish. There are no bones behind the back of the rib cage.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьThanks, been craving fish
Just wasn't wanting to make it same old same old
😋🐟
Just purchased your third cookbook. Loved your first one…..can’t wait to get this one too! Question…. I know a wok is needed but I think I can use my large cast iron skillet…..do you agree or should I invest in a wok? Love your channel
ОтветитьFlo you are such a great cook to share your recipes to people. You are so calm and going through every steps is so easy to follow.
ОтветитьOf all the recipes I searched, yours seems to be the easiest to do. I used a whole Striped Bass to make the steamed fish and turned out excellent. My father in law loved it. Thank You
ОтветитьAnother winner, I didn’t have green onions, so I used jalapeños and it was delicious.
ОтветитьCan we substitute rice wine with rice vinegar or any other alternatives?
ОтветитьWhat vegetable dish would you pair this fish with?
ОтветитьAbsolutely Delicious 😋
ОтветитьThank you for sharing. Your husband is like my husband. They always made us happy with fun.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI think this is very very easier to cook and should be tasty.
ОтветитьExcellent! Thank you
Ответитьthis has been my go-to recipe after i saw ur video. me being married to a Taiwanese and still learning the tricks of the trade. 😅 thank u for this vid. 🥰
Ответить❤ love a whole fish . If my hub got the bone- that would be the end. But he would love sauce and rice.
ОтветитьI don’t always have green onions on hand. Can regular yellow onion be substituted for it?
ОтветитьSingapore, 20/2/2023
Want try
Thanks 🙏
Good luck mom
For sure I will make it soon ! Yummy….
ОтветитьCan this be made in the IP?
ОтветитьI’m going to add ginger.
ОтветитьYes, this brings back fond memories with my parents. Thanks.
ОтветитьLooks sarap, Maraming saamat
ОтветитьUse kettle boiling water, faster. If often like to cook, I recommend Khind DB 600. Electric steamer, very useful, steam everything including steam soup for the entire family. I steam rice, seafood, meat, Mince pork ginger mince & oyster sauce, egg....Save gas long term especially steam braise meat that requires 2.5 hours up. Steam Porridge 2.5 hours. Labour free
ОтветитьGrowing up, I used to hate fish nights unless it was sweet and sour fish. Now that I don't live with mom anymore, Im always missing her steamed fish and soups.
Ответить@joie... Great tip, using the chopsticks. Thank you.
ОтветитьFlo thank you, for a simple beautiful fish dinner.
ОтветитьThis is delicious! Having it again tonight!
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this recipe! Just made it and it’s delicious 😋
ОтветитьHello Flo,
I really enjoyed watching your video and thank you so much for sharing your recipe and posting this video.
I would really like to purchase a trivet exactly like the one you used in this video inside your wok. Would you please let me know the brand name of the trivet and possibly where I might purchase it from?
I live in California.
Thanks Again and take care.
Yea great now how do you do it in a bamboo steamer
ОтветитьI’m going to try this with tilapia.
ОтветитьFish looks delicious! You mentioned side dishes, what would you recommend pairing with this? (Full list lol Plan on cooking this for about 5 people)
ОтветитьSuper simple and delicious way to make fish. If you don’t have a wok, use a steamer or any large pan with a lid that can accommodate your plate. Happy Sunday! 💕
