I thought forward rolls start with string 1 and reverse rolls on the 4th or 3th strings ...just the reverse.

Winner of a video, I've been looking for "ukulele lessons for beginners online free" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Fenaylern Nonpareil Formula - (do a search on google ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind product for discovering how to play the ukulele like a pro without the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.

What am I supposed to do with my pinky? I feel like I need to push it down on the sound board to anchor, but your pinky is curled up and relaxed.

I highly recommend anybody interested in any single instrument, always try to learn other parallel instruments. I think it helps learn the concepts by comparison. Especially good if the two instruments are tuned differently.

Thank you so much for making this video!! It's very easy to follow along with and reminds me of actual in-person music lessons! I recently got a banjolele, but I've been playing the uke for a few years now. Learning riffs and fingerpicking has always been so daunting for me and I've never really known where to begin. This video really helps me understand it better and find it more enjoyable than intimidating. 💕
