Wow!!! I was a big fan of Jasmine Star, but for some reason haven't listened to her in the past 6 months. Then for some reason, I got thinking about her and looked her up tonight. I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID! First I saw her playing multiple instruments of a Rush cover song with Sina Doering on drums. Then I chanced upon this video, and not only got to hear her sing for the first time, I got to see her dynamic facial expressions and fluid body moves. (Great presentation by the way) The other commenter was right. She really is the total package. JASMINE, you're like all nine of the Greek Muses - ROLLED INTO ONE!!!! So glad to be listening to you once again.

Listen 2 Dylan, Cohen, Prine, Barrett, Rush, Zep, Lennon, ELP, "JIMI," Janis, Joni Mitchell, Chris Cornell, "Mother Lovebone," Cobain, CSNY, "The Mayor of MaCDougal Street," etc., 4 lyrical content. Read literature... if U wish. 60s music lyrics were far more socially refective and cerebral. The musical artists were drawing from the well of the beat poets, classic poets/ philosophers, the resistance against the war, new age film, 2D art, freedom of thought, non-conformity, gov't propaganda, etc. However, if U just wanna write hard rock with a focus on guitar solos and tricks... by all means. REMEMBER- "JIMI" was not just thee GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER... he was also a GREAT lyricist. He didn't start playing a musical instrument til he was 14 (which was guitar)... and he was dead at 27. He came from complete destitution, got shuffled around, didn't have his mother, and often ate ketchup sandwiches or worse as a kid. And he was "on the scene" for less than 4 years. This is the man who HEADLINED WOODSTOCK! Anyway...

I just randomly found you on instagram. And came across your song. I would say you are a great musician but your vocals shouldn’t be behind your Instruments. In this video it shows that you are really projecting your voice but with them being in the background there is no reason for that. Let your vocals really be heard like when your strumming the guitar. Keep the great work coming. Can’t wait to hear other songs your working on and hope you let your vocals shine through.

Jasmine, I am sure that I commented on this but it must be in a different platform. I’m getting old 🥴. Jasmine, I know I have said this before, but I believe that you’re the best young female guitarist out there today by a country mile. With all the other instruments that you play, excellently I might add, and a beautiful voice, you are just amazing. This video shows that you have some pretty mad skills at songwriting and video composition too. You are just the complete package, all rolled up into one. You should have won that young guitarist competition earlier this year too, you were robbed. Anyway, awesome work young lady. You have a fan for life.
P.S. a question; I know that you and Andrei Cerbu have both worked with Sina before, and IMHO, he is your counterpart, the best young male guitarist out there today, and I wondered if you ever gave thought to jamming with him? I can only imagine a battle of the axes between you two, 😂. I saw Thin Lizzy back in the 70’s, and they had two guitarists, not really lead and rhythm, but both played lead and rhythm at different times. They had a battle mid show, lasted 15 or 20 minutes, and it was incredible. Just a thought. 👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹
