Putin is a Killer: international rally against war, dictators, and in support of civil society

20th of August 2023 on Praça dos Restauradores, Lisboa at 17:00 we made a rally against war in Ukraine that Russia makes, against dictatorship regimes around the world, and in support of initiatives of civil society.

Putin is a killer, 20 years ago he started killing oppositional politicians and journalists in Russia. Now his regime mass-killing Ukrainians and Russians in Ukraine. We want to say, that you should not make deals with terrorists, and remind on hostages: Alexey Navalny and all other political prisoners.

We want to support Ukraine in their fight against dictatorship regime in Russia and for democracy in Ukraine.

We would like to also tell about anti-war, democratic, and anti-dictatorship initiatives, which work on various aspects of civil society. Both from Russia and from other countries. And we ask you to support them.

We also initiated a petition "Don't be quiet", which is intended to break a rule of not discussing politics outside of opposition YouTube channels. We would like to make politics a normal topic to be discussed in life, and thus stimulate growth of civil society in Russia and Russian diasporas abroad.
