That is great news about the class 08. God I wish I they done a Smokey Joe or some other 040 or more 060 Not everybody's into the larger engines. I prefer smaller ones personally.

This exhibition made me take the regrettable decision to put a hold on TT for now and change up to 00. There just isn’t enough out there for me at the moment and I’ve been desperate for any tank or small tender loco for months. I appreciate that a new scale takes time to be established but it doesn’t appear to be taking off as well as first hoped.

To learn from the magazine that the release of the J50 was pushed back to January. Then I found out at the show it was pushed back to February, and subsequently in the evening I saw that that date had changed to March/April was the final straw for me.

I understand timings slip occasionally but manufacturers need to manage their customer’s expectations better otherwise it’s just constant disappointment and then some of us will just give up.

I think what Phil predicts about the Class 37 selling bucket loads will certainly come true. Aesthetically they fill a gap between the steam and modern eras currently on offer, they're the kind of loco you could put on a heritage layout and I reckon many modellers would buy more than a couple of them. Also, very encouraged by Peco's commitment to expanding their TT120 range even if it won't happen overnight.

As J50 is coreless motor, did you ask whether Green 08 motor has been improved?
Class 08 before xmas will be nice, though TMC weathering / motor replacement staff might be busy.

Good news that the Class 66 & HST Trainsets 'should' be here before Christmas. Hope they can bring the 08 and Pullman coaches forward. That Class 37 tooling looks amazing. I managed to pause the video to see Summer 2025 for the container / tanker.

Well.. I think I’m reassured that the scale has a future! Lots of exciting wee bits n pieces but it’s frustrating that there’s no constant drip of the bigger stuff. However it’s probably unfair to compare with the other established scales.
On a positive it was gratifying to listen to Peco’s obvious enthusiasm.
