Only 2 animes came close to making me cry. Then again I haven't watched that many. I'm very picky and get bored easily. Most of the time I just pick a random anime without reading the plot or so much as having a single solitary clue of what it's about just to up the shock value not knowing what I'm getting myself into, most don't stick (hence getting bored easily) I also typically avoid dramas in favor of wtf Japan? types. Anyway, the animes that made me have to choke back tears were Ayumi's death in Charlotte and Hina's lobotomy in The Day I Became A God.
