I use the RB7 wings on the BR8 which are about in the middle for downforce

why in the world would anyone who actually wants to race online do it in gta - better question, why is there open-wheel or any other kind of racing in gta to begin with

taking every corner flat out is exactly what i bought the BR8 for lol these are essentially the only cars in the game that can do it and remain stable. you push the Emerus too hard and it spins out, you push the Krieger too hard and it goes straight into a wall. these cars are unique for taking corners that you usually have to hit the brakes for even in supercars, completely flat out

I thought the difference in the down force on the open wheel car spoilers doesn't count in the open wheel races?

The R88 catches air on little bumps that all other open wheel cars can manage with ease. If you're racing with the R88 and you start to catch air let off the gas immediately! It will pull the front end back down.... Also don't forget when your front end starts lifting in the air you have zero steering! Its a good way to lose a open wheel race really quick. I know from experience.

But do the different wings have an effect in open wheel races now? Because in your fact finding video you said no.

On cars like the fmj where it says it increases traction with a wing in game, does it actually increase it, or does it make no difference so I can take off that ugly wing on mine?

I've found the BR8 and PR4 can actually trade wins, depending on the track.
The BR8 is the best all-arounder with good acceleration and top speed. Though, the PR4 has better handling (including turn radius), a higher-capacity KERS and is easier on the tires (I've finished 10-lap races by running softs with 1 pitstop).
This could just be a coincidence, but the PR4 might be slightly stronger than the BR8 as well. The BR8 can't even drive through the yellow lane dividers without losing its front wing.

I wonder if they're going to add Formula 2 vehicles to Open Wheel races. That would be weird, since F-2 is supposed to be slower than F-1.

So the downforce we need to set is from the rear wing??

What course is that in the video? Did they get rid of it? I've only been playing Open Wheels for maybe three months, but I've played a lot and pretty sure that isn't an available track.

What are all the add ons for the br8 at mid?

BR8 is faster than DR1.

So kers is better for accelerstion and not top speed

I just do better w the PR4. I really think its stronger for any track.

Of course the most ugly has to be the fastest.
