What is the best mood to save electric bills. Is it fan mood??

Not much clear. So dry mode for rainy + hot day? Why do we need to set temperature in in dry mode?

Modern air conditioners are designed by idiots. Who in the world would buy an air conditioner which serves to dehumidify the air or works just as a fan? The purpose of using an air conditioner is of course to cool down the air. Just 1 mode is enough. Too many modes makes operating an air cond so hard that it needs a genius to do it. I spent many years using my air cond to realize that there are 3 modes. I had been wondering why my air cond worked intermittently. Adding to the mess was the timer functions. The designers should have included a default mode which is air cooling without the timer, if they so wish to make the air cond so hard for users to use.

It all comes down to dew point and feeling comfortable. A 70° day with 90% humidity will feel the same as a 85° day at 50% humidity. Take the water out of the air and things feel comfortable. I run Dry Mode in humid weather
