I thought crypto was like the Tulip Mania when my son brought BTC to me after it went from $10 to $100.

I was naturally skeptical because my wife and I went through the $32,000 pyramid parties of the late 70's when we "invested" $1,000 and within a week we walked away with $32,000.

Gas was $0.65/gallon in California back then, and it's $5.19 now.

31 of 32 "investors" walked away with nothing and lost $1,000, or $8,000 in today's money.

I was even more skeptical when it hit $1,000 in 2017 because it had dropped from $10,000+ a couple years before.

I was still in the mindset that whatever I "bought-in" for I'd have to sell to another "sucker" who was willing to pay more than I did.

A couple years later BTC dropped from $20K to $9K so I jumped in on what I was hoping was a "dip" with some "throw away" money.

After BTC dropped from $70K to $15K I jumped in again for even more.

Then I finally realized that BTC is more like real estate as long as there are more people willing to buy than there are sellers, because I wasn't willing to sell, yet.

When mainstream financial monsters started getting into the market with ETF's that allow you to buy a "fraction" of a BTC, I finally realized that I could've been buying "fractions" of a BTC all along.

That's when I realized that I was throwing tens of thousands at something I really didn't understand.

Because BTC prices are now being shown on TV along with mortgage rates and the stock market, I'm positive that more "suckers" will drive the price up.

Now that BTC is at $50K, down from $70K, I'll probably sell in 2025 if I'm at 10X, after 6 years.

Then again, depending on the rate of change of BTC, I may hold out for 15X or 20X.
Or it's possible that I'll start making monthly buys just like I used to "save" money.

I have an Investment portfolio that's worth $1million, I don't think that'll be enough for retirement. I need an average risk investment strategy in stocks that'll give me more yield.

AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA. I'll also take any other recommendations you make.

Thank you for your videos mate.. . Crypto education is what the world needs the most right now. I don’t think that buy and hold is a valid investment strategy anymore. Peter, thanks for posting. Question. The one point about Bitcoin I've never understood is the scarcity point. If I can break up a coin into unlimited fractions, how then would a limited quantity be a value point? I have other concerns but that is the biggest one. I do get it, in general, but figured if you are suggesting it to your mother you may have thought it through a bit more than I have.
