ОтветитьInteresting how the ghost towns in California have the same graffiti and vandalism you'd see in the inner city whereas in Arizona the abandoned towns don't seem to have delinquents tagging up the places.
ОтветитьOld enough to have traveled it back in the day, interesting now. But also a bit depressing to me.
ОтветитьI visited Glenro old historic post office video on my channel

ОтветитьRoute 66 is an integral part of our shared American migratory experience of moving across a great continent in search of a better life. Having read the Grapes of Wrath and watching the film countless times the trek along this great road was a memorable one when I drove it.
ОтветитьUr a very good tour guide. Keep up the good work. ❤❤❤❤😊
ОтветитьWe visited Oatman the donkeys 🫏 were standing in the road blocking trafic for tourists to hand them treats I jokingly asked an older gentleman on foot " hey mister can you move your ass please" he loved my joke and we all had a good laugh. Oatman is a must see if your in the area.
ОтветитьYou have a pleasant voice. I could listen all day.
ОтветитьLIt beer did not exist when Budville was open. In those days, people drank real beer.
ОтветитьI climb cell towers for a living. I've traversed these desolate roads so many times and often wondered about their history. I've stayed at many of the surviving motels along this route and wandered these liminal spaces. I deeply appreciate the effort you have made to record this quickly diminishing aspect of our country's history.
ОтветитьThe america that the rest of the world imagine, wild west
ОтветитьIt's sad these places no longer exist. Maybe one day they can be resurrected again
ОтветитьWhat would be the best time of year best months to make this trip so that everything is open that you mentioned?
