The major obstacle to Green energy is government greed. For example the US DOE violated its own licensing policies. Most likely they Investigated themselves and pardon themselves for being a US Traitor. They gave China the rights to a very promising green battery called vanadium redox flow batteries capable of powering an entire house for DECADES. This technology cost millions of tax dollars to develop. ...maybe all the employees were paid Millions from China through private offshore accounts and given prostitutes. ...just maybe the females chose extremely well endowed black men as their prostitutes. Trusting the US government has become a sign of mental illness.

We could’ve been doing this a CENTURY ago if greedy fucking oil, gas and coal companies didn’t cover up climate change and buy politicians like Australia and the rest of the worlds governments.

Dudes, Renewable energy may start green, but the cost of manufacturing a product that generates electricity half a day is foolish. That said, solar on homes makes sense in that it takes the leccy out of government hands and puts the cost savings into the hands of the people. It's when the sun goes down that Electricty plants are needed...
ESPECIALLY if we all have smart cars that need charging and we all plug in, to recharge, at the same time at night. Wave goodbye to the cheap energy tariff and pray you have nuclear because those batteries will lose their recharge capacity over time, the clouds will obscure the sun, and the problems with home solar that requires an energy plant... are the same problems a solar energy plant will face.

Diversify energy production. Use Green for home generation only. Make your government build power plants... and put money into fusion research, that's the green future we need. And fer gruds sake, if you build nuclear, use Thorium, not Uranium. It's safer.

Renewable is nothing but a misleading marketing term like all natural or chemical free. Calling a energy source RE tells us absolutely nothing useful about sustainability, environmental impact, materials throughput, reliabilty, functionality, etc.
The inconvenient fact is that low-carbon energy generation depends on metals and minerals, just like high-carbon energy generation depends on oil and gas. You can’t call these metals and minerals with a prayer or make them in a lab. They have to be mined. As dilute intermittents like wind and solar are so problematic both in the enormous amount of resources the require and in loss of efficiency when incorporated into infrastructure they have a far larger environmental impact than the other low-carbon options.
We can’t get something for nothing, and every human activity has an environmental cost, including attempts to protect that very same environment.

The down side of this TOTAL ban we have on coal is things like steam engines which give hundreds of thousands hobby pleasures and all the offshoot industries including tourism now run inefficiently on a horrible wheat based coal mix ,which produces loads of smoke and sparks as well. However China is STILL building a new coal fired power station EVERY WEEK. WHAT’S THE POINT OR LOGIC IN THHAT POLICY

And now, 4 years later, those renewable are failing, causing toxic harm to the environment, destroying the environment they were meant to save, and raising power bills. Funny how that worked just like everyone warned it would. Germany did the same thing and their power bills with "free renewable energy " is astronomical. They literally have no idea how people are going to survive this winter without Russian gas, because their fuck all green energy doesn't produce enough I'm the winter to be worth the investment.

The ONLY reason the government doesn’t invest Into renewable energy is because it doesn’t build anything infrastructure any more and doesn’t build anything that can’t recoup money like roads and stadiums. Many years ago the government built and owned dams, power plants ,airports, railroad, power grids and mining towns for mines , hospitals and schools. Then one decade decided to sell them all off, privatising them and letting them price gouge us with arbitrary price rises at their discretion and not having to spend our hard earned tax dollars on us anymore . Cool and normal. So instead of building huge solar farms in the outback and creating small towns or fifo camps and filling them with the ex coal workers and families cause it would cost them money out of their slush fund pockets up front they are just gonna cling to coal and gas and our tax profits until we are all dead

I may be stupid and not understand any terms used in these videos but so far the pattern I'm seeing is basically the Australian government going "we can't do stuff that will help you because we wanna give money to old dusty musty crusty people and our friends , and we also won't do things that can help the planet because we care about our friends 🥺"
