Hendrickson may eventually get traded, but I doubt to Wash unless we give up a player like McLaurin or Payne. Other teams like Lions, can offer better DPs-only. I would be very surprised if AP gives up any pics higher than 5th anymore. Looking at DPs AP has gotten the last 2 years, they are very valuable, and are there really any holes? AP wants to get ready for the big JD salary coming in 2 years (I doubt he doesn't pay him after 4 years if JD continues as planned), so we want DP salaries, not massive vet salaries.
At what point do we stop paying "year-at-a-time" vet salaries; placeholders, and the team is where AP wants it to be?

Hendrickson is too expensive. CINCY's is in full control-- they don't do extensions easily and they're willing to let him sit the whole year if he so chooses, but will not trade him for anything other than a first ++! That's how they operate. So considering that, and considering he needs a new top of the line Edge contract, I suggest fans just let go of that fantasy. Besides, we have our own first rate player that we need to pay!!! Pay Terry and try to find an Edge in the FA market-- there are a few out there who will be much cheaper, if not better options.

Washington had 43 sacks as a team in 2024… lost 15.5 with Fowler, Jon Allen and Chinn.. replaced them with Kinlaw, Wise, Martin, Goldman who had 12.5 together.. JJB, Payne, Kinlaw, Newton will all have more sacks than last year and a few guys that have 0 NFL sacks will contribute a few: Magee, Dom-Hampton, Medrano, Sainristil… so another edge rusher is not needed!!

Love JD5 Jack, and not nitpicking, but how was he “knocking on the door” of 50 TDS last year? He had 31 (passing and rushing combined)

Im at 6 that Washington will win Super Bowl this season. They are very close. I personally feel they're at least one more solid off-season from being thay good. So I'm saying not this season but definitely next season. Terry will get a ring.
