i also think that the studders in Fortnite may have been because the first game after updating drivers on rtx cards is unbearable for some reason, been happening for a long time.

I've the same exact ryzen 5 3500 cpu but somehow i got the cpu in the sealed box by amd maybe coz I live in India as it's a asian country.. paired with asus A320 gaming motherboard which has 4 ram slots i get the single 8gb ram stick clocked at 3200mhz CL16 paired with RX550 2GB 256gb Nvme from nextron & a Gibaytbe 550B power supply with monitor from Acer 75hz keyboard & mouse hp all brand new parts with taxes included around 50k approx 2.5 yrs ago. The reason behind pc build was doing some office work mostly clg & university projects. I've played valo in 1080p low it gets around 250 avg sometimes it's reach 300 fps too in fracture the most intensive map it gives around 200-170 depends on the game to game. Fortine i don't remember the excat settings but i got around 70-90 fps which i feel very playable in dota 2 1080p low settings it gets around 100 or more medium/high 60-80 fps which is more than playable to enjoy dota 2

Bought the 5600x on Ali for 86$, and 7500f for 130$ works great!

The 2060 is never a good deal as long as a 5700xt is available.

Ladies and gentlemen i am in need of advice. Im looking for upgrades for my pc but i really dont know what to get. Im also on a very tight €/$50-100 budget. My main problem with my pc is that after it boots up, it takes ages to load apps up. Also if i dont use an external SSD my pc boots up and is in an infinite bootup screen for some unknown reason.

My specs are:

Ram: 16GB DDR4
Gpu: Nvidia geforce gtx 980
Cpu: intel core i7-5820k 3.30GHz
Storage: TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 1.81Tb and an external SanDisk Extreme 55AE SCSI Disk Device.

Also it is worth mentioning that this is in a prebuilt Alienware Area 51 r2 pc bought back in like 2017 or 2018.

I dont know what motherboard i have, nor do i know how to check it, but has 4 ram slots all filled in with 4Gb each, and it can have 3 Gpu’s installed.

Nice. Using dlss performance mode @1080p, with an older 6 core, 6 thread CPU… I think you guys know by this point, upscaling, especially at a lower resolution, taxes the cpu more. It would better for the fps (as far as stability) and visuals (upscaling at 1080p is horrible) to just play at low/medium settings to alleviate the cpu load. You guys were barely hidden 60% GPU utilization in cod. I think you guys know though, but for some reason, continue trolling your viewers, most of which don’t know any better. Bravo.

Bought a few Ryzen CPUs really cheap last week. 3300x + 2600x + 3600xt for a total of 60 euros. Guess I'll have to build a few budget gaming pc's 😅

I think instead of 2060 you shouldve gone for 5700 xt which can be had for 100 usd and has similiar performance as 2070 super.

I think 5 4500 instead would have been a bit betterworse than 3600 but better than the 3500 and you can find them for 35/40$ around my area

I could get a double decked Front and Side panel Tempered Glass Case for around 20$ or slightly more in my country the brand and model is MMA sr89 and sr98 case they don't come with fans though but those can be had cheap enough if your not looking for anything fancy.

I have the same PC case and motherboard. I am running a Ryzen 3 3100 and a GTX 1070 in it and got a 5 fan ARGB kit for cooling. For the PSU I used an SFX unit with an ATX adapter plate which addresses the issue of the screws in the front.

I got a RX 5700XT for $150 and a Ryzen 7 5800x for $100 yesterday for my gf's pc. Just excited about the deal and wanted to share.

The cpu to gpu ratio feels off without those extra threads on the cpu, still a reasonable build for the price.

I got a Ryzen 5 5600 from Aliexpress for £71 and I intend to sell it for £100.

3600 is LEAGUES ahead BTW.

i feel like you need a 1gb ssd nowadays considering games like cod take up 150-200gb

I built almost the same pc back in March, but costs over $380. It was a 3050 6gb (pre-owned), Ryzen 5 3500, 16gb RAM, MSI A520M, 512gb SSD NMVe and FSP HV Pro 550W PSU in a Gamdias Aura GC7

5800x can be found for less than 165 bucks all day new, problem solved.

Just my opinion but, you are ONLY playing E-Sports titles and NO triple 'A' Games in which this system will NOT do the job in ANY stretch of the imagination. May as well just stick to your phone to play E-sports titles and SAVE yourself the MONEY. "Cheaping out" will ONLY cost you MORE in the long run IMO.

You can get the Allied Gaming Stinger Micro-ATX case for $50 and it comes with four pre installed fans which are RGB. I just bought my pc parts and built in the same case and temps are great with three intake and one exhaust.. one thing to note is they are fixed RGB so color options are limited
