Great tip.. I discovered this method (search on Format) when given some workbooks with heavy use of Merged Cells which I dislike. Did a Find on Format => Alignment => Merge cells and was able to find and un-merge each without hunting around the workbook manually. Great idea to use the technique to jump to constants represented by color filled cells.. or any other criteria that might be useful. Thanks and Thumbs up!

Is find limited by number of rows? I have a spreadsheet with several hundred rows and find couldn't find highlighted cells.

Thanks for the tutorial. Is there a way to make this work when the cells, rows or columns are highlighted using conditional formatting? This procedure does not work with cells highlighted with conditional formatting. Thanks

Very clever, simple way to go about separating highlighted from non-highlighted cells. Thank you!
