ОтветитьReally great video about taking a trip to Paris, Dana! Lots of helpful advice and tips. Thank you for putting this together. I think it is so great that you both are spending a month in that lovely city.
ОтветитьHave you done Disneyland? Is that a day trip from staying downtown?

ОтветитьThis is the video everyone should see while planning your trip to Paris. Dana is very helpful on so many levels. Save this one! ❣️
ОтветитьGreat tips...ome thing that i leaned is about the shopping. Didnt know that you had to shop 3 consecutive days in a row. Just so im sure, it would be a minimum of $100 euros wach day correct ? Just want yo make sure because ill be going in September. Thanks Dana 😊
ОтветитьI had the best Italian food ever in Paris. We were in a small bistro on the outside edge of the Eiffel tower. Delicious! You do you. You are fantastic to watch.
ОтветитьWould you recommend a Paris City Pass? I'll be visiting this coming April and want to know if the city pass is worth it to see a lot of different attractions.
ОтветитьI think the 3 day shopping rule is not correct. That may be the time frame needed to validate the receipts with your passport at a mall-type environment like Galeries Lafayette. For instance, if you are traveling in other EU countries you don't submit your VAT paperwork until you leave the EU. You have until the end of the third month following your purchase to leave the EU with the goods. It would hardly be possible to make all of your purchases only in a 3-day window. I know I read something once that sounded like that but don't see any mention of it on any official sites.
ОтветитьSuch a good video! You've given me so many good tips for my upcoming trip.
ОтветитьI go to Paris every year since 2016 and Ive never heard of shopping 3 days in a row to get tax (VAT) back. Must stores just require a minimum amount spent.
ОтветитьWow!! Excellent info thank you so much!! Going in Sept and want to score some shopping. Your info was really helpful!!
ОтветитьDon‘t you have to pay customs when you return to the US? We Germans are only allowed to shop for 430€ and have to pay taxes when we shop more… it’s crazy…
Ответитьthanks for all your ideas dana this great help for our next paris trip easy to use thanks

ОтветитьI stayed in the 8th off the Champs Elysee. The hotel staff at the Warwick was great. They went out of their way to help you. What do you think of Champs Elysee for shopping ?I’m from Chicago and the Champs Elysee is better then Michigan Ave. I totally love Paris.
Ответитьhow do you refund the tax if you are not flying out from france (italy for example) thanks

ОтветитьWow!! Thanks for sharing your experiences and great tips. Paris is my dream trip 🥰🥰💕 love your videos
ОтветитьStay not only near a metro station but also see where the lines go. I picked a place where there were at most one transfer needed to get to every attraction I wanted to visit
Ответитьgreat video and tips bonjour!
ОтветитьDoes the store refund the items immediately? I’m reading that you get your refund upon exiting the country, like at the airport.
ОтветитьI lived there for 2 years. I love Paris! I was however, shocked by how crowded the streets are, now that the whole world is traveling!
ОтветитьYour videos are so helpful! How were you able to find a one-month rental without a mobility lease?
Ответитьthanks for the info👍👍👍
ОтветитьDon’t rule out bus travel, it’s a great way to see neighbourhoods. 42 and 69 are particularly good for sightseeing.
ОтветитьArrondissemont 16th looks very close too even though it is a higher number. I was in 18th, 3 weeks ago but I am actually going to the 16th in just over a week. The 18th where we stayed the airbnb was nice enough but area seemed a bit rough. It was cheap. I think the one I am going to next will be best.
