I did luv mine
ОтветитьI had My 1970 in 1979-1982 Sold her. Sure wish I had her back.
ОтветитьI was in high school one the guys I worked with got a 76 SS that outran a hiway patrol.
ОтветитьI remember a 1970 Hunter Green Chevelle that caught my eyes 👀 L6 Perhaps 🙌🤩💋
ОтветитьMy favorite years from a body style standpoint is the '66 and the '70, although if I could build my own, I would start with a '71 or '72 and install a '70 front clip. Naturally, I would go with either a 572 or 632 crate engine and a Rockland Gear Tranzilla 6 speed transmission.
ОтветитьYou forgot another beautiful car the 1967 chevelle ss
ОтветитьI have a 69 SS Pro Street Chevelle 1400 horsepower very nice Chevelle brother
ОтветитьIn 1970 this car sold for under $4500.
ОтветитьThe best year chevelle for me would be the 1971.
Best looking model they ever made
I own a 1970 SS454 in Fathom Blue w/White Stripes. They are amazing machines, even after 53 years.
I do wish GM had offered the 70 in black with blood red stripes, like the car in the cover photo for this video.
Great car,I love the chevelle my favorite was the 67.I had a 67 in my younger days.
ОтветитьThe 1970 was the best in its day
ОтветитьWas there a 70 Chevelle SS 350? My brother bought one and put his buddies Corvette 454 LS 6 in it.he sold it in 1977 for $1900.00 ! New paint, carpet,BB suspension, Muncie rock crusher 4 speed. I was 14 so he wasn't gonna let me get it. Said I'd kill my seo,he was likely right!!
ОтветитьEver notice how the government fucks up everything?
Ответить1970 chevelle was ….Alright alright alright (dazed and confused)
Ответитьwow! i must have had one of the first 200 built. 1966 396-375 ss super-sport. 4-speed, muncie with hurst shifter. posi rear. black-bucket interior.. fast. very fast. and all factory. and also rag-top.
Ответитьi hope u all know they built 2 different 454 in 1970 on is a bbc 450 hp at 485 torque the other was a ls 454 sb made by ls. the ls that u see today is the same block with a few upgrade for sensor ports and it was aluminum block i seen a real 70 ss ls 454 and it had cowl induction LS on the hood and u can not buy the emblem they only built 250 emblems which 212 went on the ls 6 454 and 12 on the ls 7 427 cars and the only way u can get the ls engines was as a crate engine. the code that everyone goes by just means it got a crate engine which both 454 was a crate engine at the time and it was put in the car by ls or known as gm racing division which started officially in 1970. if u look up the mark iv series and read the whole thing it talks about the ls that has different angle of pistons and push rods the only way u can change the angle of the pistons is with a new block which ended up being over 300 lbs lighter then the bbc with a stronger main bearing setup. i use to run a ls 454 sb on the drag strip in 1975
ОтветитьGrew up during that era. Even then would kinda get confused between the Malibus and Chevelles. Or are they the same? . Lots of those cars back then. It was just a childhood filled with awesome cars, just rolling art. In high school had the 1967 396 Impala 2 door Super Sport. We all look back hoping we still had those cars.
ОтветитьWhere I used to live in NY a Guy up the road had a 71 SS LS6 .. It was Blue.. So they do exist..
ОтветитьA real American iconic classic true "Muscle Machine", always a favourite with myself!!! Great video presentation indeed!!!!
ОтветитьI would of liked a 1967 chevelle with the 454 Cid and the 66 with a 396 perfect 👌
ОтветитьThe 70 454 SS is my favorite one that was the year of my born 👍💘🐺
ОтветитьI graduated high school in 1967 and the Chevelle was one of the most wanted cars of any teenage boy. The Corvette was always 'THE KING' though, but too pricey for most of us.
ОтветитьJust brought home a 71 I found in a grandma's garage. Still on the trailer awaiting a spot in my garage.👍
ОтветитьThe best of the best very nice 454
ОтветитьYes, the 70 LS6 is my all time dream car!!! I grew up in the 80s and was lucky enough to have ridden in a few of these truly amazing cars!
ОтветитьThat's one BAD car. Your a BAAAD MAN.❤😮😮😮😮
ОтветитьIf Chevy would have only known. Maybe we can bring the Chevelle back in a High Horsepower, High Voltage Electric Vehicle for Biden 😅.
It just won't quite sound the same as the original muscle cars. EV quiet, EV garbage!!!
Let's light a fire? No need, my EV is on fire! Handy feature to have, and at no extra cost!!!
The 70 Chevelle SS with the LS6 454, ran the fastest time in stock trim than any other car! It was factory rated at 450 h.p. but made well over that. Had a 64 Chevelle right after high school but it was a turd. 283 two barrel and Powerglide trans.
ОтветитьNever had a SS but did have a 64 and a 66 the 64 had 38k miles that I got for a paint job and was in mint condition ya this could be a long story...miss the 80s
ОтветитьBuick’s 455 in ‘70 was better than an LS6.
ОтветитьModel years 1970 and 72 SS 396😊😊
Ответить"The Z16 says Malibu on it!"
ОтветитьVery very HOTTT Car Only thing it didn't pass was,,,,A GAS STATION !!!ZOooooom!!!
Ответить❤

ОтветитьThe quality of the Work and The qualify and the cars is. Mind blowing I would ot hesitate to by a car 😊
ОтветитьThis and the olds 442 w/455 were the kings of the muscle car era.
ОтветитьI'll always love the LS6. 👍Please check out my 1968 Barracuda fastback powered by a rowdy 512 stroker backed by an A833 4 speed manual. I think you'll approve. 👌
ОтветитьFabulous I love the ultimate legend chevelle❤❤❤
ОтветитьMy 427 66 Chevelle beat a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6 in 1983 and the owner sold it to build something faster which he never did. It would be worth over 100,000 now. He regrets it. I mention it when I see him at the grocery store he works at. I still have my Chevelle.
ОтветитьFavorite year is definitely the 1970, with the 1972 rear bumper.
ОтветитьMy dad had a ls6 ‘70 Chevelle SS when I was born…. It was beautiful
Baby blue, white stripes, white interior. I grew up hearing stories about my dad’s exploits in that car… I never really knew how special it was until recently.
*Edit: I failed to mention that he had bought it new……
Bad statement on the operation of the hood scoop.
Ответить💥 1972 and 1773 🔥
ОтветитьThe muscle car era was born in 64 with the GTO. Don't take that accomplishment away from Pontiac.
ОтветитьThe 1970 Chevelle SS is the most beautiful muscle car ever produced.
