I think that's an incorrect take on the team selection, imagine being a player that had played a part in the team getting to the final of a competition just to be left out of it because you want your "best players on the pitch". What message does that send, especially when the team is so young. There had been a difference in the league and European lineup all season, he tried to let players have their moment, it unfortunately didn't work so he changed it and they pumped in 4 second half goals, bit harsh to be criticising the manager after he led them to a 4-1 victory

I am shocked as to how short memories this panel has, and in particular from Jason. Nobody even mentioned how long term injuries to key players in this young Chelsea squad created a lot of the inconsistency, especially after January when Chelsea lost both strikers. This panel totally forgot Wesley Fofanna. Who has been out injured so long they didn’t remember to consider him for their starting eleven for the first game of the coming season if fit. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Get someone like Marquinhos to partner Colwill as an experienced centre half regardless if PSG wins or not.

If we're trying to continue to progress, we should not buy Sancho. Were not a charity. Just because he's happy and having fun with the rest of the squad doesnt change he isnt good enough for the Prem. He'd also take mins away from George next season

One thing about Chelsea that cannot be overstated is their commitment to English talent and maintaining an English core.
I know it matters very little these days and counts for nothing but I love that sentiment. We're an English team, in an English league and we should represent accordingly. Delap being another quality addition along with the likes of James, Colwill, Noni (Chalobah and Sancho need to stay).
Drog was our foreign icon, JT and Lamps, our English flag bearers who became household names worldwide. I love that our next icon is Palmer. In two seasons alone, he's had such a global impact only largely playing domestic football. Now he can showcase his talent at a European level. Strangely enough, he still has his doubters in Europe (ps: f*ck Morgan Rogers, rightful king of the 'Chilly' celebration will be on display). Credit to BlueCo., they do have integrity on that part and scout local first.
