Just Wow!

Sierra Ferrell is one of the best musicians I discovered in my life. This is just some weeks ago. I'm 61 and listen to music every day since more than 50 years.

May be I'm wrong. To me the show show seems to be filmed and recorded in high quality. They play very well and professionell. But it doesn't have the fire and spirit, I percived on other recordings. This spirit and atmosphere doesn't apear on this recording. At least for me.
One part of their visual appearance mostly is the contrast between the classic, conservative look of the guys and her coloured, wild dresses. It's not only about this and it's just an observation and may be I'm wrong.

Great recording but her live concerts are better still-she has a presence that is difficult to capture on film. To say that she is the best vocalist of a generation is an understatement...more like the best of the past 3 generations at the very least. Her covers of Wanda Jackson, Janice Joplin, Dolly Parton, Kitty Wells, Sarah Vaughn, Jimmy Rodgers, Hank Williams and John Lennon are all amazing...she owns every song she sings.

Sierra’s such an incredible talented singer and songwriter. One my favorite artist over the last several years. Her backing band is also damn good. I’ve seen Sierra 5 times, do your favor see her live if you get the chance.
