The Church I attend is currently doing a verse by verse sermon series on Ecclesiastes. It's a shame that this Book is so often overlooked by the Church. And isn't it just amazing how Jesus appears all throughout the Old Testament. I just can't fathom being in a Church that not only skips over books like Ecclesiastes but skip the whole Old Testament.

In John 14:16-18 it's talking about the comforter, the Holy Spirit. In verse 18 of the KJV Jesus says I will send you a comforter, I will come to you. Isn't Jesus saying there that He is the Holy Spirit??

I absolutely enjoy this podcast! The teachings are amazing and anointed and the teachers also are anointed! A question was brought up in the podcast “where did Yeshua ever promise us that we’d prosper in this world for following Him?” Luke 10:29-30 says that we would prosper for following Him, but persecutions will also come too. I’m not a big fan of the prosperity gospel, but I do feel that those two verses are definitely a promise for us. Blessings to you all!

We're not to answer a fool in the same scornful way they present their darkened and ignorant gainsaying questions to us, lest we appear to be just as foolish - ignorant - as they are. As in replicating the child-like response of neener-neener. We are not to come down to their level. But we are to correct him - answer him - according to the wisdom of the sound doctrines found in the KJV Scriptures alone, in context and rightly divided. Like Paul says - instructs us - in Titus 1.11 KJV only, "Whose mouths must be stopped." By doing so, the wisdom of God shines forth from us, and the foolishness of the wisdom that is from below is made manifest in them. We are commanded to be ready to give Biblically sound answers at all times, whether in season or out of season by both Peter and Paul. We're also commanded to go from the presence of a fool after we give them God's wisdom and recognize they have no heart to hear it. If not, then it's only going to gender strife. We don't need to foolishly add to our suffering for Christ's sake by continuing to cast our pearls to swine - the haters. So move on, shake the dust from your feet and waste no time on the gainsayers after two replies and they refuse to turn from their foolishness. Don't allow them to take up your valuable time you can be using more productively to reach those whose hearts have been prepared by the risen Lord Jesus Christ to receive the Seed of God's Truth.

Solomon's not finding meaning because he's not like his father David who was in close fellowship with God most all of his life. Therefore, until he arrives at his final conclusion of all is vanity and vexation, it's because he left God out of all of it and he only found emptiness. The ride getting there was thrilling to his flesh, until it ended in emptiness. The wealthiest and wisest man to ever live, but he only found it all to be emptiness and vexation. True treasure is knowing the bodily risen Lord Jesus Christ and learning - mining - the depths of His wisdom. His wisdom, wisdom from His Word - the KJV only - as is taught through the Spirit of God, is more precious than all things in this world that are considered to be precious, COMBINED! And He freely offers it to all who fear Him and walk humbly before Him, after they have believed on Him unto salvation. It will also determine the amount of eternal glory/riches we inherit from him at the judgement seat of Christ, after the rapture. Those Christians living carnally will suffer both chastisement here, and loss of eternal rewards later. This is not important to them now, but it will be when they stand ashamed before Christ for their refusal to be conformed to the image of Christ in this life. We don't see too much of God's chastisement these days, because most who have it coming are not God's children in the first place, they're fake Christians. God is not chastising the Devil's children, He only chastises His own. Their punishment is awaiting them in the Lake of Fire.

The Torah promises the righteous people will prosper "IF" they remain obedient to the covenant God made with them in the land He gave them. They failed God, as He knew they would. The nation is still out of the will of God and scattered, just like God promised He would if they broke the covenant. The so-called star of David has nothing to do with David. It was introduced by one of Solomon's evil wives. It's clearly condemned in Acts 7.43 KJV, "...the star of your god Remphan." It represents the number 666 and the cube or hexagram found on Saturn, the planet that's a symbol for Satan.

In first Corinthians 15,* Paul referred to those who only teach part of the gospel, only the death of Christ and NOT His bodily resurrection from the dead. He's saying"IF" there was no bodily resurrection of Christ from the dead, then we have no hope and are most miserable among men for taking up the cross of Christ in this life, if we rise not again from the dead. Christ rose again for our justification. His death alone can't save us. Paul is saying if Christ didn't rise, God was not satisfied with His shed blood for our sins and we're all going to perish - there is no salvation = we're not justified before God. Context, fellas, context. You're close but missing the mark. You must hit the mark or you're wrong, coming close and your enthusiasm is the most dangerous position to be in, and your modern English Bible perversions aid you in missing the mark. Too many "gospel" presentations omit the bodily resurrection of Christ. The same is true of John 3.16 in your modern Bible perversions, they omit the word, begotten. Begotten means Jesus Christ was raised from the dead - the only Son of God who was raised bodily from the dead. That's an essential soteriological doctrine, if it's not emphasized there is no salvation. Paul tells us that in Acts 13.33 KJV and references it to Psalm 2. Study the New Testament closer and see how the writers ALL emphasized the bodily resurrection of Christ. It's the main reason they were persecuted. You won't suffer any persecution if you only preach the death of Christ, as is common place among those who profess to be Christians. Satan's fine with only that, because he knows you won't be saved. It's when you complete the gospel with the second pillar of truth, Christ's bodily resurrection from the dead, that the satanic persecution begins. It's no wonder Satan excludes the word begotten from John 3.16. By doing so he's subtly denying both the deity of Christ and His bodily resurrection from the dead by removing that one word from the text, and fake Christians don't even notice this subtle and damnable heresy. He's keeping lost men lost by thinking they only have to believe Christ died for their sins and the rest is up to them to get into heaven. You two should know these things and teach them. Many profess to be Christians, but God says they don't know their own deceitful and desperately wicked hearts and they've really never believed God unto salvation. They believe in God and mistake that for believing God. Because, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"

Hi. May I ask which Bible you are using? Are you using the Catholic versions of Bibles with all the books in it, OR, the Protestant Bible where 7 books have been removed by Martin Luther in past centuries?

I ask because I recently came back to my Catholic faith and found that Martin Luther (when I was following Protestantism) that he took out 7 Holy Books and kept them out of the Protestant Bible, including 1 and 2 Maccabbees ( the story of Hannukah foretelling Jesus as the light in the darkness) and the Book of Wisdom, amongst others?

I'm confused when you speak of "wisdom" books?

I was always told to read Ecclesiastes from the perspective of his repeated refrain: "Under the Sun". That's the key. And while Israel was promised material blessings, the church was not, but was promised spiritual blessings.

Initially i thought he was stretching too much the book but then i considered “well, Jesus said the whole OT pointed out to Him”, so this guy is not stretching it but just witnessing what Jesus already disclosed to us!!! Amen thank you Jesus and thank you O4I
