I've literally just started playing WuWa and omg! When we saw him me and my bf fangirled so hard!! We are currently trying to get him😭

Maybe chat has told you but something I think you will enjoy in WuWa's combat is that multiple DPS is actually competitive with hypercarry teams meta-wise. Team-building can be very versatile while staying strong. And Brant is one of the most flexible characters period. You can run him as your sole healer/shielder, he can be the main damage dealer in the team, or he can function well as a quick-swap dps alongside characters like Changli or even Chixia.

A couple of things:
- You can get early access for bosses in Wuthering Waves. Just click on the items needed, then you can automatically teleport to the boss you need to fight for Brant's ascend items.

- For the other things you need to ascend him- you can get them with synthesis, provided that you have other monster drops. Wuthering Waves also often gives out small drop boxes in their events, which could also get you the drops needed. Wuthering Waves recently added portable synthesis to the game. You can find it in the character menu, or just click on the item and go to the synthesizer.

- Wuthering Wave's five weapons all follow the same pattern in terms of how to level them. Sword-users always use the same items as other sword users to level weapons and skills, gun-users always use the same items as other gun-users to level their weapons and skills, etc. So, you don't actually need to go to the other region to level his skills.

- You might want to play the storyline-- once you go through the cutscene where you're introduced to Ragunna's landscape, you get to fly. Yes, actually fly, not glide. You can now fly in Wuthering Waves-- well, in the 2.0 area, at least. If you want to explore, this is one of the better tools.

- Lastly. Roccia is a CHILD. It's understandable since you didn't play the game, but the girl in the box is a child.

The game has improved a LOT compared to the 1.X voice-acting, story telling and landscaping. Brant's story quest is also out now, so look forward to that, hahaha. Not to mention, the characters have all kinds of accents-- Zani, for example(you might meet her later), has an Italian accent that the fanbase went wild over.

Bit on Brant:
Brant doesn't gain shield through R, he gains it through his forte and E(the bar above his health). If you want to know more about his move sets(and the others), you can actually go to the tutorials. Just go to character screen and look in the bottom right corner.
