I think I know why Wing Mario Over The Rainbow is classified as a cold level.

They wanted the same effect of Mario falling into a cloud that he has for falling into snow. (Gets stuck halfway, has to pull himself out) Incidentally the sound effects of him walking on the clouds are the same as walking on snow.

Rainbow Ride is not classified as a cold level, because it doesn't have any clouds you can walk on. So they didn't need to bother changing the level classification.

I think the reason that wing Mario over the rainbow is a snow level is so that when you fall from a far hight you sink into the clouds like you would sink into the snow in a snow level

All those walls you hit in Tall Tall Mountain are always there. They are just straight up invisible walls. Because the swimming speed is so low, you cant even phase through them so they are always solid./

Grateful for the count of the 100 coin stars, as I was questioning including MIPS and Toad stars in the total count. If you gotta use them to reach 70, that's one thing, but excellent to know the pre-Bowser-in-the-sky red coin start total is 72 without them!

You can swim to collect the coins but not the fifth one because it’s above water so the first four are possible I think?

It’s wild to me how much stuff actually interacts with water when it normally would never come into contact. I’d figure stuff like the chain chomp or Monty moles would just act as normal rather than float.
