I made this today. Sponge was superb. Mine was not heavy or dense at all but I’m in uk and used SR flour and no baking powder. I wasn’t too keen on the Glaze , it turned out way too sweet , should of known as I’m not a big fan of powered sugar. Will make it again and modify the glaze. I made this as a cake not a loaf.
