New muscle cars have a lot of serious potential in terms of sheer raw HP but is a having a fast car really that important? For myself, I would much rather have a moderate fast car that is I can drive daily on regular pump gas. As well, I do enjoy being able to repair my car myself as that gives a person a sense of accomplishment that one does not need to always bring their car into a shop for automotive repairs...

Cars today have way too many electronics controls inside, thus a relatively simple problem can really amount to several thousands of dollars b/c even many automotive service technicians cannot properly diagnose and repair the problem.

Generally, if you want something you can work on and repair yourself I suggest buying a 2005 or earlier Toyota...!

I had a 2002 Rav4 for 7 years and the only repairs I had to do cost me about $220 Canadian. This included replacing the EGR, PCV, coils. battery, and MAF. After that I continued to drive the Rav4 till late 2024....! The Rav4 had the original DENSO coils which lasted to about 272,000 KM, which is really really good for OEM parts...

Who could have been their third? A lot of Top Gear comments on here, justifiably so, could have been something special.
