No Holds Barred!!! Martial Arts Insider Owen King

Direct from beautiful Malta we chat with Owen King about his long martial arts history, training and the awesome World Martial Kombat Federation World Championships. Why are the World Championships being held in Malta? What is the WMKF? Who can take part? What disciplines and styles? Mick Tully asks the questions @WMKF.

Owen is a 4th degree Blackbelt and has been training in martial arts since 1986, in that time he has won Many British, European and world titles with various associations including WKA and WAKO.

He has studied many styles of martial arts including Kickboxing, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Aikido, Thai Boxing, submission wrestling. and has a blue belt in Gracie BJJ under Victor Estima.

He holds a professional Trainers boxing licence through the BBBoC (British boxing board of control) and teaches Submission wrestling as an associated school to Shooters MMA association.

He is the head striking coach for Team Rough house (Professional MMA fighters) and the main striking coach for "Judo" Jimmy Wallhead and Andre Winner. He also coaches many other professional fighters and develops fight stategies for them.

The WMKF World Championships 2016 were held in the world class facility at the Cottonera Sports Arena in Valletta in Malta. The athletes were ideally suited to the warm, sunny and friendly environment. Malta we want to visit again.
