nice video
ОтветитьLovely vid!
ОтветитьIncredible video! Your videos also look and sound increibly great so it was interesting to see.
ОтветитьHey guys, I can't get davinci resolve to see my footage from Sony camera or go pro. Not sure if I have to purchase studio version for it to support codecs.? Please help.
ОтветитьAs a gamer who's in dual boot(Windows and Linux via Pop!_OS) that's a good idea while my game was exclusively on Windows which was Minecraft Bedrock while I can carry via Waydroid and OBS to record and it works well so I can try to keep working on new videos
Well in terms of video editing setting here in Philippines where Adobe is a king while only advanced users using DaVinci Resolved and Kdenlive (my main video editor)
My image editor for thumbnails back then was Photoshop but I tried GIMP and Inkscape it was good then I will use it case to case basis but using GIMP and Inkscape was good tho, my video editor was Kdenlive as i mentioned before.
What a helpful video, thank you for sharing it!
ОтветитьIm also using linux for my channel.
Kdenlive, inkscape, gimp are main tools.
Do you use the AUR version of Davinci on Linux?
ОтветитьIts a bummer Linux won't support Nikon raw footage or photos, as I use the Z9 for all my YT and social media
ОтветитьI use Tuxedo OS, KDENLIVE and an old Canon Camera and GIMP. Occasionally I'll use OBS as well. Never had a problem using Linux.
ОтветитьI adore "no camera" Creators.
Their content is often very engaging
Wow this collab was amazing, its so cool to see how everyones enviorment is so perfect for them :3
Ответитьwhich version of Linux do you use? can you install it side by side Windows on the same HD? What about trading software like many brokers offer Schwab, Fidelity, Interactive brokers, Think or Swim? Can you run them somehow on Linux?
ОтветитьKenny not here makes me sad
Ответитьgreat video
ОтветитьI just use Blender
ОтветитьI found the most interesting thing of this video is de list of people to follow, I know only a couple before, cool that you put their together
ОтветитьThank you for this exceptional video! It really helped me locate myself as I contemplate starting my own channel (or rather, posting content on the channel that YT automatically gives me). I see now that the hardware I have is perfectly adequate, and I have some new ideas for supplemental hardware and software depending on the direction I decide to take. I really appreciate you and all the creators who took part, it was very helpful 🙂.
ОтветитьAs an open source advocate, I also run Linux, and create all of my content on Linux. I use, well, open source of course. Shotcut for video editing (which is so much more powerful that what I use it for), Audacity for audio clean up (which I'm still trying to perfect. I use Neewer mics, which are actually way better than I make them sound, and are so inexpensive, it's a great way to get started at least. I use OBS for my screen recordings, and generally don't show up on camera, because no one is at my channel to see me. Great video! Great content creators, and Love seeing what they all run. Thanks for this.
Ответитьbrodie robertson is a furry tho
ОтветитьI use OBS and a multi-webcam setup, shotcut for editing if I really need to (I hate editing BTW) but I'll be going into DaVinci Resolve.
Hardware setup is tricky after you get more than one or two cameras connected simultaneously. Running out of USB bandwidth is common, it can sometimes be averted by lowering the data throughput on cams (like 1080p30 rather than 60, or using H.264 instead of raw YUYV422). I shoot at getting the best I can from my hardware which is either hand-me-down or bought secondhand, keeping things as cheap as possible here. Using an Elgato Facecam, two Razer Kiyo Pro cams, a Kiyo, a Logitech Streamcam and a C930e. My to-go microphones are Behringer C-1U condenser mics, they're utterly cheap secondhand for the quality they provide after you fix the enclosure grounding issue they often have.
Recently I got an industrial mini-ITX PC and it really got me going towards a distributed setup, with small computers used for encoding cam and mic feeds as NDI streams and putting them on my LAN. It took some compiling as non-free software is involved, but it keeps my PC from running out of USB bandwidth.
All these creators and no Veronica Explains? Definitely check her out - she's amazing!
I shoot my video on a potato.
My microphone is a potato
I use kdenlive to edit.
My videos are entirely limited by the skill of the creator.
Great video and as a creator that uses Linux it's always wonderful seeing everyones setups and processes.
ОтветитьNow ask, Luke Smith.
ОтветитьVideos like these show me how much I still have to learn on linux. I use it daily as I am a linux systems admin but I only touch a very small ammount of software during my work. But looking at the user side of things this is just thrilling to see
Ответитьgood stuff pavel
ОтветитьGreat idea, and thanks for making and sharing the video. I now have some new creators to follow up! 👍
ОтветитьWhen I first started to watch this I thought most will use Resolve for editing.
ОтветитьProps to Justaguy for using mkvmerge for his video "editing". Love it!
ОтветитьImagine if Mutahar was in. "So yeah, I use Linux as the base, sometimes I screen record in a Linux VM, sometimes in a Windows VM, sometimes in a mac VM, I might edit in the mac VM or in the macbook, I might game natively or in a VM" 💀
ОтветитьI edit on Arch btw [-~-]/
ОтветитьPhotopea is the tits. I can even use it in Safari on my phone on the go.
Ответитьthat tunnell guy's hot swap SSD build was beautiful
ОтветитьNo boilerplate fans gather here
ОтветитьDuct tape.... Civilization would be so different without it :)
ОтветитьDoes Brodie live in the dirt?
ОтветитьSuper cool video, I'd love to have a follow up more about the software side. I could give some insight to digital avatars like Vtubers on linux
ОтветитьExtremely fun, thanks for organising this, Pavel! 😁
ОтветитьSigma lens? Ok Brodie what are you trying to tell us
ОтветитьI always like seeing other people's workflows. Never know when you will find something that is a good idea and worth adopting.
Ответитьlove the thumbnail
