This verse does the exact opposite of what you think it does.

Odd that in the Scriptures Jesus calls Peter “Cephas,” in Aramaic, which is indeed a big immovable rock. And in this same passage, we see Jesus giving Peter the Jeys of the Kingdom of Heaven, calling back to Isaiah 22 and the good steward being given the keys to Jerusalem. It just might be, (and indeed the Church has always taught) that Jesus is showing Himself to be a true Davidic King, appointing Peter to the highest position held in the Davidic Kingdom besides the King and Queen-mother.

When the time passed, they called it 'pet-roma later Peter of Rome'. Pope Damasu-1 took this tricky word to claim his throne is the ancestry from Peter, the disciple of Christ and he established his authority to interpret the Bible only by the Pope. 🙂

Brother I love your videos , I just watched the shocking history of the Sabbath. Why do you show Jesus with long hair ? Christ did not have long hair . In 1 cor. 11:14-16 Paul said if a man has long hair it's a shame. Jesus always did those things that pleased the Father.

I would add Luke 16:19-31to show why we cannot pray for the dead.

I think the problem of Peter/Petra only arise in the Greek language. That is, the translation from Aramaic to Greek made this problem of small rock and big rock.
From a grammatical point of view, Peter has to be understand as the rock.

The Greek word for Rock here is Petra. The Church is built on Christ the Rock.
