The Schönbuchturm is a 35-meter-high observation tower on Stellberg Mountain, located in western Schönbuch, northeast of Herrenberg in the Böblingen district of Baden-Württemberg. The tower is supported by eight masts made of glued, native larch wood that splay out in a chalice-like manner and are interrupted by three viewing platforms at heights of 10, 20 and 30 meters. The masts are braced to the foundation by a steel cable net. The platforms can be reached via two spiral steel staircases.
