Whao merci!!!! Super épisode. J ai pleuré plusieurs fois😂 c est sûr que de reprendre un rôle à la fin d une série c est compliqué mais elle s en sort plutôt bien. Il faut etre tolérant. Vivement samedi prochain. LOFE❤❤❤❤

Vu l'épisode 9 de la saison 7. C'est un schéma de la narration de DG. Les changements et la réécriture visent à raccourcir l'intrigue très fouillée de DG, ça se comprend, mais ça affadit la narration. Toutefois c'est un plaisir de retrouver certains acteurs de la saison 1. Notamment old Ian, La jeune Joanie et l'irascible Laoghaire. La nouvelle Jenny fait de son mieux. C'est difficile de remplacer un personnage en cours de série, surtout une actrice aussi talentueuse que Laura Donnelly.
Par ailleurs, l'épisode est sursaturé de moments dramatiques, c'est un peu pesant. Heureusement que la scène entre Jamie et Laoghaire vient rompre la monotonie de toute cette atmosphère dramatique. Malgré çà, je continuerai à être fidèle à la série TV car je suis curieuse de voir comment les moments d'action qui vont suivre seront retranscrits et puis je suis une passionnée de Sam Heughan, je suis son jeu avec intérêt. 😊

I was so surprised when I was watching this episode with the new actress (Kristin Atherton) playing Jenny. What happened to Laura Donnelly (the original Jenny)?

Ohhh, I love Nell, I love how passionate she is about Leghair (lolol) and Layla- careful what you wish for! I'm so happy to see not so little Joanie back again. And much welcome to Kristin, I've heard that IG has been pretty horrid, but you've done a wonderful job! The real MVP of this episode however belongs to Steve Cree <3 !

The new Jenny is x1000 better than the other one. IMO

The old actress for Jenny was really good with the role but understand that she had scheduling issues and the new one seems to be holding her own quite well. That scene witj Claire was one of my favorites in the books.

I didnt like Laoghire in the books but I actually like Nell’s version. She really makes her more likeable, or at least understandable.

I prefer the original actress Janet Jamie's sister

Outlander is Great to be back on something to look forward to

Lovely to have Outlander back and to see Jamie and Claire again! They are older and more mature but still love each other so much! And I will always love them too!
The new episode was so well done and it was great seeing some of the old characters from previous seasons back!
I did prefer Laura Donnelly in the roll of Jenny but Kristin Atherton holds her own!
And yes I am guilty as charged for being one of the old ladies in love with Sam Heughan! He is a worthy gorgeous Scot and how can you not love him? People can really be mean!🤍💙💓😢

Stupidly, I decided to wait 12 months before watching season 7 part 1. After just watching all 8 episodes in part 1 last night I was so disappointed and want to know who is responsible for ruining the show! Season 6 ending left me so excited, only to find in season 7 part 1 that they have cut the budget and the story line and most of the other important characters. Seems to me they didn't want to pay any more wages to the other important actors than they had too. Getting fewer episodes per season at the cost of a detailed storyline. Feels like someone kept hitting the fast forward button just to get to the end of each episode. Waited for an epic season 7 and ending up getting the Readers Digest version instead. Either they all had a bad day at the same time or the film editor was in a hurry to get to the pub! If season 1 was like this back in 2014 the series would have died a quite death after only 6 episodes ! Shame on all involved for promising so much and delivering so little!

"Told you I would fight with you bear killer" Apparently only if they pay the fine extra actors to come back instead of casting them off and all disappearing into the ether! Apparently, there was a battle, between the Cherokee and the rest of the Browns, but don't think about that too much! Murtagh can behead the Duke Sandringham, Jamie can kill Black Jack in battle, The Fraser clan can usher justice to the Brown clan for raping Claire, Marsali can inject Lionel brown with poison to his juggler but Jamie is too shy to be shown giving Richard Brown a suitable death for all his evil???? A venomous snake from Jamies pocket and biting Brown would have done the trick! Briannas daughter was on deaths door so they urgently rushed back through the stones! And??????? Suddenly it is 5-6 years later and all is well? I can't verbalise just how disappointed I am with all involved. We have all invested years in this show and bonding with the characters, only to have management try to rest on their Loral's and the shows popularity hoping we the fans would just accept the abridged version of a great show!

From where the stones were they travelled through, Roger and the family would have arrived back in modern day USA. How did people react to their clothing? How and who operated on the baby? What did they do for money? Where did they stay to organise the medical care? And how did they all get back to Scotland? What were they doing for the 5-6 years before we see them all again in the show all happy and healthy? So many gaps and so little story. I think all involved need to get their cheque books back out and spend more money and produce more episodes to fill in the blanks they deliberately left out. If I wanted to imagine what happened I would have read the books. Like I said previously, we are all getting the Readers Digest version of the show and it is not good enough.

Kristen has the feistiness of Jenny,it doesn't matter that it's not Laura Donnelly,it's the fact that Kristen gets the character of Jenny and she nailed it.

How does Diana deal with the ageing of the actors when the story is supposed to be year by year in the civil war? I mean part 1 of season 7 end right at the start of the civil war no?
