Today we take a serious chunk out of this wasteland reclamation project behind the white shed. The concern was that using it as a parking pad could pose a flat tire risk given the various bits of sharp metal and glass that were likely buried just beneath the ground.
As expected, there were tons of old farm junk hiding under there. Also the soil was super rutted up and uneven, so tilling was a the best way to breakup the top layer and allow me to level it out.
What was unexpected was to find a giant concrete block just under the surface, but we'll deal with that in Part 3.
I then go on a not so wild goose chase for my cat thanks to Tractive leading me astray.
We used "Ox", my Troy-Bilt "Horse" Rear tine rototiller for the tilling & it was a tank.
