Full tank?
ОтветитьHi guys my heart goes out to all the hit in the storm
Going to Rockingham to
With Tubo John's team
I gave them a bunch
Of 9 inch rear stuff
His PB that he showed us is 4.67 in the 1/8
Low 7s
His partner Pro Mod Randy
Has a Mustang that makes
2800 at the wheel
With a small block Ford
Shelby said block
And some killer heads
Part of the 405 is at Rockingham right now
You can make a golfcart faster than a lambo, end of the day its still just a boring golfcart.
ОтветитьDavid didn't blink from the burnout box till darn near crossing the lights
ОтветитьWould, love to see what it would run, with the stock intercooler, in that cool dense air. No doubt, the new intercooler is better, but stiil.
ОтветитьAndy have you guys finished the 318 build yet?
Ответить7's are in sight David!
ОтветитьNice work, the facts are at the track
ОтветитьSeems like all them gear changes, drops it below max torque all the time. You guys would be on to that?
ОтветитьGood video and progress on the Ecoboost!
Ответитьcoyote all the way , eco junk will blow up way before the coyote ever will
ОтветитьLove this. I did 11.91 in a canned tune 2012 fully loaded 6 speed manual Coyote at 115. My 2014 loaded auto car has done 11.3 at 121 on 100 of blow and 11.5 on it's current 8 pounds of SC boost...1/4 mile obviously. Mustangs can always give you bang for buck, way back since I raced Foxbodies.
ОтветитьWow 8.15 is the exact time that my late friend ran that was fast at the time years ago. 442 with a 455. Basically built like a stock eliminator. He optimized everything.
ОтветитьGreat job DV!
ОтветитьI'm not a Ford guy but I say ecoboost and you guys are just getting started!
ОтветитьKeep up the good work Guys 💪💪💪💪
ОтветитьYou should race Uncle Tonya, In his latest live video, his boyfriend said Tony beat a fat guy in a Ford truck. Nice Mustang and I love your videos
ОтветитьVery cool/ good numbers, awesome gains. But still can't beat that V8 sound.
ОтветитьKeep what you have . The procedures are very interesting ,,, ! ,,, at some point in the acceleration game you are going to have get out ahead of the oil pan and pickup ,,, !
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьLooks like a blast wish we were closer to each other
ОтветитьI was going to say get the master in his car! 😁🚗
ОтветитьSorry Andy I am behind in ya all's videos and I have Cellulitis again 😢
ОтветитьYou talk about running a slightly modified ecoboost on the street. I don't have a problem with that but I would like to note three things. Factory warranty is gone, will it pass emissions still and first question I received from my insurance agent was it modified.
Thanks for another great video. I really enjoy them all.
It’s fast for a daily driver street car.
The engine compartment is do nice looking with the little engine too.
I’m glad you and David enjoyed yourselves.
I’m buying a new F150 with coyote.
XL regular cab - 8’ long bed
Special ordered
They are lighter cars too.
Nothing sounds better that a turbo spooling up.
The ecoboost mustangs sound good too.
The exhaust system on Coyote GT sound awful.
Not a good exhaust tone
Not good like an old school Fox Body
I still have my vizard mini tuning manuals from my early years.
ОтветитьWow that's fast. Thank you so much for the mention, at Eurocompulsion we did put some thought into that intercooler configuration.
ОтветитьWay to go guys
ОтветитьMy nephew just purchased one of those Ecoboost Mustangs, same color as David's, and he loves it. I'm not a 4 cylinder guy, but that is a damned nice looking ride nonetheless. It'll be interesting to see what you guys can accomplish with that 4 cylinder, but the way tech is today, I'd bet it's going to go pretty fast before it's all over with. Nice to see David still out pounding the drag strip! We only live once, better get 'er done while we can! 👍💪
ОтветитьBe really interesting to see the difference with the carbon fiber wheels, $$$ though .
ОтветитьI would like to put an ecoboost engine in my 2,500-pound full interior falcon.
ОтветитьGreat content! Not only fun to watch but also many of mustang owners will find this very useful. Just because I like V8’s, I’d go with it but 4 cylinder turbo can be a blast to!
ОтветитьCar needs a one piece aluminum driveshaft.
ОтветитьEcoboost mustangs make a lot of low end torque due to the turbo being so small, you are going to need drag radials to take advantage of that, it will put you down into the 1.6 in the FT, combined with a E30 tune from a good tuner that actually knows how to tune those will allow you to make all the power tje stock turbo can produce.
ОтветитьIt's great to see an older gentleman doing what he loves at his age, testing, modding, and racing! Keep it up!
ОтветитьI have to agree.for a daily driver that makes it a lot more fun and gives some Camaros a lot to think about. I do have to ask? The 318? What is up with it?
Ответить✔️💯🏁🇺🇸
ОтветитьGreat to see you two guys enjoying yourselves at the strip. The Ecoboost is a great car - the "smarter" option. While the Coyote is the one for muscle car enthusiasts.
ОтветитьWell done, gentlemen! I have been concerned about you guys, because of the hurricain and Davids health. It's awesome to see what you guys have done with that 4 banger! God bless!
ОтветитьThat thing was moving! Was this in Boiling Springs, nc?
ОтветитьLoving this!
ОтветитьDuster sounded like a RB 440 or 413.
ОтветитьWhat are the stock gears . I would think the gear set is the big deal . If it had hwy / mpg gearing hooked up to 10spd trans putting 3:73s would be a big thing and overpower tires as mentioned . Of course a better intercooler is always good and with modern turbos where lag isn't as bad and bigger intercooler doesn't increase lag jt all makes sense . Almost all front engine RWD cars biggest problem is traction and not power for something like 1/8 drag racing . But frankly it looks kinda boring . You time the light and use throttle a bit while a 10 spd does all the fun stuff . Much less to master then old days with a manual and trying to dial in the holeshot and hit the shifts right .
ОтветитьFans and racers PLEASE support your local dragstrip! Don't let it close like Scribner, NE
ОтветитьAnd you probably get 25+ MPG on the way to dragstrip and back home!
ОтветитьGlad to see David out there. Heard he was not feeling so well the weekend of the No Name Nationals. Hope to see the both of you next year.
Ответить😎😎
ОтветитьGlad to see your working with Greg over at EuroCompulsion!
Have you been able to access the TCM via your ECU?
The 10R80 transmission is highly tuneable!
Wow, that's flying! And you guys make it seem effortless. Any thoughts on a spacer for the plenum or other heat avoidance ideas, thinner oil? I'm thinking back to my pure stock 5.0 Mustang days. Thanks for another great video!
