The single flaps servo will make it difficult to remove and reinstall the wings. That's a buzz-killer for me. Too much trouble to transport. It would have been so easy to build with dual flap servos.

I'm always disappointed when you don't put the flaps down when landing. Especially when you made a note of how the flaps work. ;-)

I love airplanes and boats. I would just crash a plane, but Ive been looking for a seaplane to just operate as a boat. I dig the Beaver. Been a scale boater for 40 years, and have a Flight Instructor rating. Been around airplanes my entire life. Love the seaplanes.

Nice video! Too bad you never put the floats on, even for just a cameo. After all, it is in the title! Love the airplane, but living in the PNW, all I ever see are Beavers with floats! never seen one without. Plus, it looks awesome doing stunts with floats, like I do with my Turbo Timber. Good flying, as usual!

Used to be a member of AMA, when I was flying at the club. Unfortunately, they found it in their (and not the hobbyists they supposedly lobby for)best interests not to fight the FAA on the RID required for hobbyists. Won't ever sign up again, and will tell people their money does nothing for them, unless you have a wreak and do damage, which rarely happens.

What a pretty plane, you guys. It could really do with a hardware update. Those flaps and that battery compartment -yikes... That said, it's at a price point that someone could do some digging in it and fix those issues themselves witnout feeling too badly about it.

Well now ya know we need to see the float footage. Seems like setting up those flaps at the field would be a little finicky. Trying to get those little wires through the connecter. ugh..(Assuming by what I saw, that's what one needs to do)

Pretty sure that’s a re-release of the flyzone beaver. Looks identical to the one I bought 7 years ago, ( different paint scheme). Fortunately, it’s proven to be a good airplane. I still have it and it flies great!

Looks like Tower / Horizon is bringing back the fly zone line which is good for some of us that need some parts that the carpet was yanked out from underneath but anyway glad to see them coming back

I have the original Beaver for sale. It is in excellent condition. I purchased it 6 years ago and never flew it. It was only flown 2 times, never on water. I decided to thin my herd. I need the room for my RC vehicles.

I will say I take issue with them advertising it as "PNP", but then adding "Easy Assembly" in the description. Don't get me wrong, I personally love to assemble things; but imho, "assembly" falls outside of "Plug N Play".

Tower may be offering this model now, but FMS sold it under their nameabout six years ago. I maybe wrong but its the exact same plane.

Actually it's a re release of an older Flyzone model which was quite popular and a good flyer. They have also re released the 1.4m Seawind, a plane that I bought on sale right before it was discontinued years ago. That is another good flyer with the bonus of being an actual amphibian with retracts so you can taxi from land into water and vice versa.
