I kinda wish you had put in a sample work/gym loadout. The review was great but getting a sense for size wasn’t great, specially because you took the shoes out before we could see the main compartment.

I recently bought the Dayfarer from David and really like it so far. It seems really well thought out. The clamshell opening and the external access are great. Also, I am in love with the grab handle. Its just so much more comfortable than traditional, smaller ones. I dont get why only a few companies such as Peak Design have gone a similar route.

A few things I dont like are:
- Fidlock Buckle can be forced open by pulling at the top. That is due to the buckle being designed to slide to the side to open.
- Would have preferred the lower piece of the buckle to have a bit more space between itself and the part where it is sewn to the bag in order to move more freely
- Would have preferred the flap to be longer to provide for better closing when the bag is maxed out

Those are not major issues though and I highly recommend this bag.

Two questions: Do you prefer this or Aer Duffel Pack 2? And do you think glasses cases would fit in the front pocket?

Great review! I know you mentioned the shoe pouch is tight for your shoes - do you think a pair of mid-top basketball shoes would fit? I'm a size 11.

Do the side pockets become less stiff/tiny and more spacious over time? They look almost unusable in the video.

Is this an older version of the dayfarer backpack? Noticed in other reviews there is one large side pocket instead of 2 separate ones as shown in your video @8.58
